Mimicry was a bad idea to start with. Doesn’t lure anyone, doesn’t trick anyone, they should have just added the other iconic lines like ‘anytime’ ‘shit happens’ or some laughs.

I’ve had success using mimicry lines to lure people away, it just doesn’t work on vets usually. But it’s great when it does, and it’s fun to utilize for immersion reasons.

Yeah it was at the bottom of the mimicry wheel asked about it at launch on a beta stream and they said they ran into legal issues recording player audio

Which sucks since Sony had everyone consent to be recorded anyways a year later.
Or maybe thats just a ps5 party thing

It really shouldn’t be frowned upon. People don’t realize the potential, which yeah, if they took the right steps woulda been major in competitive gaming.

I dont think people realize how important little gimmicks like that are to changing the game. No pun intended.
