That your answer is an insult to a question I seriously asked says a lot about you.
why do they detect me?
Don’t be bro, we play for fun, not money or glory
My experience with good PC FTeams - the problem is not you moving - problem is you are getting to close to them. Range is a very good option against PC death squads. Keep your distance and use range weapons, leap away after each shot. If they start swearing at you , call you names - that’s only because they can’t kill you, so you must be doing a good job XDDDD
Use dawn range perk with combination of dithered lens and new specializations - some builds can be made exclusively for range combat and are very effective at reeking havoc among good FT. Also a big factor is simply training – don’t run away from lobby if you see a death squad – its your chance to get better at this game, regardless of what the outcome will be.
Maybe they have Aimbot, Radar and Hacks? If you listen to Predator Gangster Rap, like Conto Muerto while playing then your senses gets improved aswell, this was found out in a well undocumented study by professionals.
Shut up you XDDDDDDDDDDD
@Fire you really haven’t changed much. Maybe it’s time to ya know… get another hobby? Might be healthy for ya.
@Bjarki have you been around these forums for long?
Apologies if you took my “satire” like comment as a backhand. There is very little you can do as a predator against these premade pc squads.
They have superior aiming, hardware and skill I guess?
Hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.
Yall being too hostile to early LMAO
Sensing there are people not even actively on the forums and actively playing.
Probably best to not be so heavily involved in the forum if you don’t care about the game?
Am I right?
It’s okay.
Fire needs to “sizzle” down xD
He doesn’t even play much anymore.
Just stirring the pot as he usually does!
No no dont try to turn it around on me.
You childishly started going at someone who did nothing to you and I called you out.
Im not the one in the wrong here.
Childishly Lmaooooo
A hobby would do you just great my man!
Never said you were wrong?
You pulling at strings here dude.
Maybe a light breakfast to pick up your mood? LoL
Look if you were joking around, it sure as hell didnt look like it.
But the only reason I said anything because I dont get how you’re gonna bitch about something eady to deal with, then when another person complains, you just come at them for no reason.
And yes your post was childish.
I just call it out as it is broski.
Someone has to call ppl out xD
I guess and you’re doing a fine job!
Happy Saturday :)
PC players can mess with graphics settings to make Predator stand out.
Otherwise when moving an outline of Predator can be seen and active players know what to look for. Tree branches will shake and drop leaves which players can spot and while cloaked you make clicking noises. However gear items also make sounds and if you use the plasmacaster players can see the laser.
In terms of tactics Predators will stick to higher levels. Come in low and fast, don’t stick around. Players don’t normally expect a Predator to rush from the ground.
That’s a myth, it has been patched very well last summer.
Low Graphics give you a disadvantage now and you can see a cloaked Predator less than with high Graphics.
Adding to what @uk_spawn said:
- You can see branches bending after a Predator jumps to another branch.
- Veteran players also know most paths that the predators will go, so they already know in which direction to look.
- But also, the psychology of this game is far underestimated, you can literally create scenarios where a certain teammate will be prioritized by the Pred, so that a person can parry and bind the Pred in Close Combat while the others shoot, or to make the Pred reveal his position from long-range attacks.
Modder Fackin, Familiiiiiii…
I’ve been in the forum for a short time, yes
Welcome to the forum.
Again I apologize and meant no harm in my comment and need to be more aware of my grammar and textual tone.
Hope you enjoy the game and if you have any other questions about the game Pred or FT alike, I’ll be more than happy to help when I can :)
There are also a ton of other forum members more than happy to help as well!
In all honesty, PC players are just very very very very good.
They are usually 2 or 3 steps ahead in strategy, you need to be 5 to 6 times ahead lol.
Don’t play like you normally would and keep on the move because it is going to be them hunting you. You have to adjust to this accordingly. Traps, hiding with audio decoys etc.
Plasma caster helps alot with this. Just have to time your shots and not let them know where you’re shooting from cause your mask is a big target for them.
Good luck and happy Hunting! =)
Thank you very much: D
Don’t worry, I accept your apologies
Thanks for the advice, I will carry it out, I hope to improve and start the heads of the fire team of pc xDDDD
a greeting!
Hasn’t been true for about 8 months now, maybe longer. Best way for a predator to stand out now is with epic or cinematic settings, which does reduce the FT player’s framerate. The pred is still invisible when cloaked and over the cutoff distance of 50m or whatever it is, but if uncloaked can be visible across the map if your settings are high enough.
So it is no longer lower graphics but higher graphics which makes the Predator more visible. That makes perfect sense to me.
Ok to clarify, I’m a console ft main. Your foot steps are easily heard even when walking slow. Tree branches bend and creek when you leap to them. Bushes and tall grass move as you walk threw them. There are plenty of ways to catch a predator just ask Chris Hansen.
Correct. It hasn’t been a thing for over 2/3rds of the game’s lifespan at this point, but it was a thing at the start and so people got it in their heads and when console players are doing crossplay, if they are considering it at all, they are doing the wrong things to counter it. They never want to listen though because they’re so caught up in the never crossplay thing despite this patch specifically addressing issues that made crossplay a disadvantage for console preds.
Stay 100m out from the FT cloaked to make your approach, consider your approach, get in, crouch when you first get into the potential seeable area. You either need to be extremely mobile and shoot quick shots at this point, or to do strong shots/hit isolated players, and get the hell out.
If you’re 100m out and cloaked, you should be safe unless you’re bleeding a trail of bright green blood to show the FT where you are, get further away and heal up if you are, pigs are more prevalent and you can eat them quicker this patch. If youre under 100m distance, you need to be either mobile, or ready to do a hit and run shot.
If you’re uncloaked and not surrounded by 3 walls that you are 95% certain that the ft is on the other side of, then you’ve got a good chance of getting hit unexpectedly by a sniper shot.
