Because some idiot on Youtube made a video saying he was the new/secret Meta and the fools that believe that are jumping in on using it, and inevitably going to get melted because Viking, like Zerk, is a slow lumbering target you could outrun on a disability bike.

Proud to say I ran a Viking out of boredom before that idiots video and somehow wiped a streamer and his buddy with two randoms.
The big classes are fun when you don’t give a damn. You can push that health bar to the limit sometimes and surprise yourself when you’re not used to it.

Well personally, I play Viking with Wrathful, adrenal boost, large pouch, and medic. I jump in and out with the alpha sickle, and getting shot in the back gives you a 30% boost to damage for chunking lots of damage with single hits, because Viking already gets 13% increased melee damage. Viking is much better at melee than berserker, because of his specialization and perk point capacity.

With someone running spotter on your team you can basically outrun a viking if they get spotted, it’s hilarious to watch that fat ass try to keep up

I play with Vicious.
Fearless + Adneral Gland + Medic
Combi-Stick + Battle Axe
Won’t say it’s the best Viking bulid when it comes to survivability but it definitely hits hard.
Stacking Fearless onto Viking’s Melee Passive makes Combi-Stick into a sweeper. I could probably have more success hits wise by replacing Axe with Sickle, but come on, Battle Axe is so fun. whack.
I actually want to experiment with Norse Hammer to see if that would work cause I legit don’t use Hammer.
A different bulid I used was Fearless, Impenetrable and Observant.
Extra survivability while still hitting hard while also being able to chase down the faster or sneaker classes with Observent. Replace Fearless for Medic for a shorter recovery.

I watched some of his video today, I had to stop. He’s putting random annoying text in his vids like it’s some Fortnite video, and he doesn’t play Elder Stalker like you should. And yeah, he plays potatoes, so of course he’s going to win. If he plays any fireteam worth their shit he would get melted, especially with how he plays.

Alot of his opponents walks around the predator not shooting. I find that impossible.

I’ll tell you and @Dentdesabre the same thing. Man can make a video telling people to run G-ROW and the mini gun for a combat build. More people sub to his channel and watch his videos than any one else playing this game.
As sad as that is it promotes the game so let him do whatever he wants and throw fresh meat into the grinder. I dunno how it’s him but he’s still the biggest promotion for this game outside Illfonic themselves
HE’s an alternative. Not a preferred, organized or scripted…so that tells you something about vloggers or- streamers. They either put the effort or become marginalized chum for whoever gets him the video recommendation.I can barely understand him. He should try harder in making english more precise. Its just too sad.
Like Jaya S and SamHaine sound entertaining somewhat… maybe their native languages make English sound silly or something or maybe their thing is not trying to sound like they give a damn.

He is what he is…if I knew how he gathered his followers/subscribers and did his bit I’d do it myself. People on this forum put out much better content but don’t have his numbers and anyone who’s seen him play knows he sucks at this game.
Doesn’t matter though, he’s promotional to the game and he can be as long as he wants. So long as he convinces people the game is cool and to keep playing till the figure it out like I said, he next video could be “Mini Gun OP” and I could care less so long as people log in to try it
