I think you got it right. However, this game mechanics should allow the Pred to be more sneaky and stealthy… Cause this way, the Pred is no hunter, he is just racing to give more damage faster than the FT.

Pretty much. Its no longer 15mins of stalking and hunting, its 3mins of who can down which side first the fastest.

Game is balanced, indeed, but in all the wrong ways. Damage output is too high and missions are too short/simple. This is why at high level is so broken, because it becomes a game of luck more than anything. FT has 4 players, while Pred is just one, so while FT would need 4 mistakes, Pred only need to make one and is fucked. There’s no room for error recovery, but definitely, with a good team, FT can recover from mistakes (thanks mostly to the Field Medic) while Pred has to evade recon-spotting-snipers and scout-duelist-chasers.
I think that once we get a game mode that allows Pred players to team up, people will begin to understand how FT is not as OP as they make it look like. Like VoodooMagic said, game was designed with teamplay in mind. And that’s the strongest edge FT has ATM, even with meme loadouts, a good working team will win against most preds and even put a strong fight against those who are better than them.
Some people will claim here they can 1v1 ANY pred and win… we all know is bullshit and an exaggeration, as much as they wanna believe their own dreams. I will 1v1 any “Top Tier” FT player here as long as they are alone in the match. Game is not that broken.

I’m not so sure about that, but the attack combo is so fast that is probably doing 4 hits in the same amount of time other weapons can only do 2.
I was able to melee down bots with it, while I can’t do the same with any other melee weapon (even the sickle) so is definitely the strongest melee weapon ATM. Though thankfully it is easier to parry than the elder sword and the sickle.
Agree with a lot of views here.
The game is mostly a DPS battle.

FT has two health options as gear items. One of which the whole team can use. They also have medkits all around the map, and ammo crates which refill syringes. Predator has boars and the large pouch perk. Boars are never where you need them to be either, theyre either bundled up in a corner too far for you to scan or there might be one somewhat close but FT will kill you if you go for it.

People also need to remember Predator: Hunting Grounds was never intended as: If the Predator doesn’t claim ALL 4 Fireteam members as trophies, the Predator loses. Nor… if one Fireteam member escapes on the chopper, the Fireteam wins.
There are degrees of winning in this game, and it’s possible for the Predator and a Fireteam member to win to a degree, in the same match.

Poor excuse. I’ve played hundreds of matches as Pred, and believe me i suck as Pred, and i only had problems finding boars in 4 or 5 matches.

It’s actually very simple. If a timer runs out and you killed at least one, you win.
If at least one ft escapes, you lose.

I wouldn’t go as far as calling anyone names, but yes, there are some that mistakenly view it through a team win or loss prism.
The boars infinitely respawn. I think fireteam would make the switch any day to have that. Also as the predator we can Destroy ft ammo and medic packs which show up easy with our masks. There is literally a button for finding them when ever and across the map.
Not always easy to find though.
