It doesn’t count as a win unless it kills all the remaining members. If at least 1 member escapes the blast radius, FT wins.
Why Killing the Predator does not reward with exfill
That’s actually not true, if the predator detonated he wins regardless. He prevented the fire team from completing their objective, escaping, or capturing his body.
The game counts detonation as a predator win no matter who survives the blast.
As much as I wish this was not the case, you are indeed correct that this is the case. Very much in your face in this game that they all know about the predator
Which is dumb, which is why no one counts that. The game can say you win all you want. Your dead hoss and the other team is alive and the reason you are dead
Except self destructing is considered an honorable death in the Yautia tradition. He isn’t trying to kill you with the bomb. He’s making sure you don’t get his body.
I’m a fire team main and if there’s one thing I know it’s that you need to defuse the bomb or escape on the chopper if you want to win.
I’ve killed Preds under 2 minutes, there’s no honor in dying that fast. xD
not really , they both lose
I never understood how surviving the blast radius means its a L for the ft
I personally always called it a loss if I gotta arm the bomb. At best it’s a draw.
It actually doesn’t count. If we look at How to Play, it even mentions that if one FT member escapes, the hunt has failed for the Predator. This applies to both the chopper and escaping the blast radius. When the weekly/daily challenge is available in which you are required to win quickplay matches as Fireteam, it counts towards the challenge if you escape the blast radius. Although I agree the Predator wins in their way, they don’t officially win. Once the pred has set the bomb, they’ve proved honor-bound and exonerated themselves from disgrace.
I also don’t get why people can get back into game even after extraction. If you go to chopper and somebody calls back in you get back into the game but that should not happen
I mean it’s a win bc in lore not only do they do it to keep their honor intact but to also prevent lesser races from obtaining their technology. I’d def say it’s a win in my back if I die and keep my gear safe with me by being incinerated
if you escape the blast radius the weekly/daily proves you lost
I’ve had mine count towards the challenge. And have proof on my YT. Unless they changed it, it should count
So a pred loses to a group of physically and technologically inferior people… and killing himself is considered honorable? Sounds like a bunch of salty losers making excuses. They failed the hunt and can’t accept that.
actually it does not , you can go try now , it never counted as win (for last 10 months i play this game )
Yeah, sounds also about right
I mean, Zeus works directly with the OWLF, it’s all in the novel
