Why the the hate for the Range?

I got called a bitch and a coward yesterday for 1v1ing everyone with the wrist blades on a scout. When I used the caster they’d bitch, so I switched to the combistick and they still bitched. Switched to the disc and apparently that’s all I use and I’m a bitch for it so I used the wrist blades since they were asking for 1v1s with melee only and whenever I got the upper hand they’d whip out their guns and start shooting while calling me a coward for jumping away.

I fought these guys before at least 4 times and every time I get a kick out either teabagging them or going for the long claim pick me up and drop all the while hearing them bitch and moan.

The guy that called me a hacker won the game (I had 3 potatoes) and I even said GG to him, he was just pissed as all hell because it was really had to kill me and I did a lot of damage to him.

People just get pissy in pvp games.

I can understand the splash being a little much because of how big the aoe is it’s almost 5 meters in every direction thats a little much.

I mainly full charge and most of my shots are either direct hits or at the feet. I also don’t purposely aim for the splash damage either!

The range is exagerated, so many times I’ve seen it coming, ducked behind houses thinking "there is no way it can reach me) and bam, damage :)

Yeah! I will agree with you it is a little much. Also Grenade damage is a little exaggerated as well! Like the explosion is mostly localized in real life amd the blow off damage wouldn’t be that great after like 10 meters

At the end of the match I asked them where’s all that energy they were coming at me with, why don’t they have shit to say when I killed them 7 times using the wrist blades and they still couldn’t get 1k damage with all 4 combined and they just kept quiet except for one kid who said I suck as pred and then quit.
