I don’t see a lot of guys running bane, and I don’t run it. That’s my point.
Most randoms I play with I look at the loadouts. They’re running xp boost or other dumbshit. Veterans are running other perks to fit their playstyle but almost no one is running bane
That does not mean that 10% damage is not substantial. BANE has been debated countless times of how OP makes the FT. The maximum burst build has BANE in it. Run Assault, bane, Deadly and AR. The pred melts like shit.
Giving meta perks to the predator is not a small tweak.
But FT having them is?

Plus players are more focused on leveling up then doing more damage to the Predator or simply they don’t have the perk yet. It’s a sacrifice but one many players follow to level up faster.

How can I do that when they are saying that FT and Pred are close with slight advantage to FT BEFORE the current buffs/nerfs and that they will monitor the changes?
Because you are as always so FT biased in your perception that the very thought of any balance changes swinging towards the Pred side of things is horrific.

impen was actually buffed a while back to be 20% now albeit it also now costs 6 perk points
ironsides is 10% though
also i just wanna say from my competitive gaming experiance if they are saying there data shows FT with slight advantage that means FT winrate rn is slightly over 55% so probably in the 55-58% range
which is not good but also not that bad most games want both sides to have winrates between 45-55 to be “balanced”
so 45-48 people usually get buffs and 55-52 people tend to get nerfs
while i do think FT def has the advantage rn i know the devs are probably in the position that drastic changes to hp or dmg are simply not going to happen even though i disagree with the reasoning the low end of the playerbase apparently needs to have a decent winrate for the FT but not for low end predators
so i agree with the stance that predator does not need dmg or hp as they will never change it predator needs new perks gear items or abilities to even the odds in some fashion
i’ve given examples of those things in other threads so for now i’ll leave it at that
