No, because then the Pred learns nothing. Nobody learns if you hold back and don’t give it your all. It’s not about being able to win against a full team like that. The journey IS losing hard, getting your ass kicked and not seeing that victory screen for weeks, maybe even months. Nobody gets good by you handing them wins by handicapping yourself, that’s stupid. Nobody goes into a fight like this expecting to win, it’s about the loss and learning from them.

I called the rest of my peeps on this game out for deciding to do a “Party night” where they go in to Quick Play and if one of them dies they can’t be reinforced and have to sit out the following games until it becomes a 1v1 and they reset. I called it out because that’s stupid and Preds aren’t gonna learn anything if you baby them like that. Either go in and kick their ass hard so they learn why they can lose or not at all.
I’m certainly learning a hell of a lot more by realizing it’s my fault for losing and not the games.
They probably did that because of how boring and easy fireteam is to play. Too bad you can’t see that.

Explain how this is accepting a sugar coated lie. It ain’t. I played worse today than I did before and I ate a loss and it’s entirely my fault. Not the games, not anyone elses. It’s MY fault for not playing at my best. So I have to work harder.

The solution is simple. I just simply have to keep playing the best of the best to learn from the best of the best and keep on losing until I can manage even a small win. Every loss is a learning experience and a showcase of why the opponent is better than you.
