This isn’t a school or a workplace. There should be no “PC” exemptions here; if someone is causing an issue on the forums, it should be dealt with.

It even says right underneath, “avoid even the appearance of such things”. So even if he’s not intentionally spamming, his constant new threads and derailing of others, and his responses after being asked to stop, technically qualify as spamming.

I was still banned when he got his last one, I felt his anger resonate through the force. But yes, I watched all of that, and he honestly did nothing wrong after he got the early release, not that I could see. But he still got taken out for, shocker, the same thing this guy is doing (except Rey never actually DID).
Since the rules were updated a few months ago, the verbiage essentially says mods have complete discretion on handling punishments. So what that entails, is if she disagrees with something, even personally, not necessarily professionally, she can punish you for it. And she can use any reason for it, even if its complete BS. This opens the door for personal resentment and purposeful targeting, something Rey mentioned before his last ban and something I’m honestly starting to believe.

You and @Fire are technically correct. Also, i was saying about my statement being not being PC, not mod rules.
My case is this. He’s not targeting anyone on the forum, he doesn’t engage in politics or controversial topics. He’s just posting and not expressing disapproval of illfonic. This is the extent of his ‘bad’ behavior. Summing it up, I’d give him a pass. Call it an exception to the rule.

Fair assumption, he isn’t causing any REAL issue. But by the Terms of Service, he IS and HAS been spamming the forum, both in new threads and current ones. I’m not advocating a ban, but at the very least a private warning to stop. Kass has done that to me and I more or less stopped, and that’s much more fair than outright banning.
I disagree that he should be an exception. If longtime users can have multiple bans for the same reason (spam), when they weren’t even spamming at all, in comparison to what this person is blatantly doing, then there should never be an exception.

It would be a different story if he actually spoke about and discussed the dlc he wants. But he doesn’t.

I see the example you’re trying to do here, but keep in mind you’re doing it out of intentional spite. You might get sus’d but only because it’s your obvious goal, not because you’re trying to do what he does.
