I’m not sure if people paid extra but i can only speak for myself for me i pre ordered the game for $5 down at gamestop but it was taking off the $40 price so when the game dropped i paid the remaining $35 (plus tax and all that)
to be fair the pre order bonus was advertised as far back as December on this trailer.

Well, I think the people who pre-ordered would be upset becasue they pulled the trigger and got the game early. They need to get something for their trouble. I feel like releasing the skin to the public at a premium like $10-$15 would be fair, and then at least the pre-orders got it for free. But it’s also been pointed out that the language used in the marketing said it was a “pre-order exclusive.” Supposedly that’s the kicker. The language prevents them from releasing it as anything other than pre-order. I can’t imagine the kinda of lame ass fuck-head that would poop his pants over it and try to sue, but you know how some people are.

also to be fair that deluxe pre order timing was whack. i looked it over though and was happy to see the deluxe wasn’t worth it and didnt change my initial pre order.

On top of that, aren’t you a good little sheep, pre-orders don’t do shit to help the devs. See, back in the day it helped secure your PHYSICAL copy, and allowed to game company to know how many initial copies they should have on hand as to not sell out. NOW though, it’s just a tactic used to get money from consumers before the final product can be judged as to whether or not it is worth the asking price, BEST EXAMPLES OF BEING FUCKED OVER BY A PREORDER:

- PEOPLE WHO PRE ORDERED PHG, HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEIR PRE ORDER BONUS
- EPIC IS REFERRING THESE PEOPLE TO ILLFONIC, ILLFONIC IS REFERRING THEM TO EPIC, ILLFONIC IS NOW RADIO SILENT ABOUT THE MATTER
- PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECEIVED THE PRE ORDER BONUS ARE NOW HAVING IT DISAPPEAR FROM THEIR INVENTORY AND THERE IS NO WAY AS OF YET TO GET IT BACK I.E. VERIFYING GAME CACHE, DELETING EPIC GAME LAUNCHER, SUPPORT TICKET TO EPIC
- IT WOULD HELP OUT THE COMMUNITY BY NOT HAVING THE DEVS WORKING ON THIS ISSUE AS OPPOSED TO GAME ISSUES

The savini skin was not for pre order, it was for KICKSTARTER backers, and was announced when the game had a tech demo at some event, that’s it.
And another thing, people who pre ordered, did not pay anything extra to get the class skin, HELL fucking half of the skin is acquirable through field order lockers, what’s the big god damn deal you fucking mongoloids
