Yep. Lost the bet.

However, the illfonic Twitter says we have a “weekend full of awesome newness” coming, so maybe it’ll be a weekend patch, and we were all wrong.

I saw that post. Could be trying to throw us off. I suppose next Tuesday could be just as likely. Maybe Monday morning, before the stream? I don’t know. Hopefully, it’s worth the wait if it’s not going to drop on the actual anniversary.

You think a Console predator killed you easily with the bow, because he had a mouse? You know, it only takes 3 hits without charging to do 171 damage. It’s not hard to do with a controller and practice, and it just gets stupid easy with a mouse.

How u hit soldiers who know u use a bow’ they just jump right and left. Sure u can hit sitting ducks who know not to dodge

We need some practising platform! I mean when i play ft no waiting but when pred so much waiting. One hour i play 6 ft but as a predator 2. Thats wrong!

We all needed practice when we started, mouse or not, it just takes practice and time to get better with the bow. Me for example, if they jump right and left, I try to predict the direction of their next jump and shoot. Arrows are projectile based, so they are not hit scan like bullets in this game, you can shoot before they jump if you predict their jump and hit them when they do jump.

But it takes practice, you can practice alone in private for starters, set off alarms and make AI’s chase you or make them run then try to predict when your arrow is actually gonna hit the target before you shoot.

It’s what I did, do.

I’m actually looking forward to the yet released single-player mode for this specific purpose. It would be good to practice the weapons with.bots. But only if Illfonic provides options for the ai – even simulating a PC Death squad for an ultra challenge would be cool.
