the parry doesn’t even bother me that much, but without the knife I can’t run as fast. With scout/double speed, the difference feels pretty bad

the sad reality is that against potatoes this shit still works.
every time I get meleed with the damn sword, i get the no parry bug, and the rest of the potatoes die there after me.
feels really frustrating when you know you just lost to a potato pred just because he attacked you first. had it attacked anyone else first, it would’ve be game over for it
The Elder swords second swing is an unlockable.
Also if the predator targeted you first then it’s not a potato predator then since it’s going for the most deadly member of the group first.
Just because it’s third person doesn’t always help due either the fireteam spotting you from a few meters away either you running away from them or either one of them happens to make a move you didn’t think they would make.
pretty sure 9 times out of 10 they don’t really target you and is just pure luck
Not really depending on the predator your fighting they will target those who do either the most damage or give chase when your injured as a predator making it easy to pick out which one you need to kill as a predator so no it isn’t about pure luck it’s more of a intellectual move to make on the battlefield.
you kinda know when they target you, because they don’t let go, when they aimessly go for whoever is close, no, is pure luck
Everything needs to be as viable as caster, not the other way around.

Alright his an interesting story that happened
I went up against a Samurai he downed me, he gets winded, and I get up to chase. He was extremely easy to follow and ends up healing in front of me, killed and diffused them.
The next game I go up against the Exact Same GUY he still uses Samurai, but he goes out of his way to kill me FIRST!!!
Well that’s just a case of the dude getring a second chance.
