It makes it so that you can’t get notifications from them and you can’t see them!
Here’s a step by step image guide for Computer, on mobile I’d imagine it’s similar.

I know the identities of two of them but regardless there shouldn’t be reason why this account has him this triggered because it’s a parody account when there’s a lot more and parody accounts that he doesn’t even remotely go as hard on.

No, its just that he follows me around constantly telling me to die, and when we argue we derail the thread. I’m kind of tired of that because some of the thread topics are actually useful/beneficial to the community, and they just become bickering threads between him and I, so I’m deciding to put an end to that by muting him.
