Perhaps. But “never” would imply that the devs have given up on this game completely, which they have not.
Why say never? What do you invest in such naysaying? The chances are actually pretty good that new modes will be added. Why not a pred duel mode? It’s an obvious crowd pleaser.

@Locke nah man very unlikely. Besides if you have friends that dont want to play ft, then you want a 2v8 or 3v10/12 hunt. Not pred v pred. Pred v pred in this game just sounds boring. This game isnt polished enough for that

Especially now that we have many preds to choose from. We have more preds on the roster than some fighting games have in total. A Pred vs mode and a Pred team mode would be very welcome.
The default “lone hunter” mode is cool and all, but so limited and quite daunting for many solo preds. A team hunt mode would allow new preds to learn from seasoned preds, and the VS mode would help both hone their skills and accuracy.
On second thought we need more ft focus. They should disable playing pred on weekdays
