We’ve already found files for a Night-time based mode in the game, alongside others hinting towards snow & rain.
Add thunder, day&night cycle, rain etc...

Yeah I agree , it would be cool , but with the waters consequences in the game ? It just jumps out to me they would need to just go against the rule . Which they totally could.
A way around it could be the cloak still works in the trees when its raining? As the trees could count as a canopy for cover?

I’ll read the description of the game mode we found a bio for in the files.

So its like one long exfil mission? Get from A to B ? Possibly no time-limit aswell? Or maybe its countered by you have a time limit until the guerrilla soldiers close in on you
We have no clue about any of the details other than All Maps will have a Night time variant and the goal for Fireteam is to either Survive until daytime, or find a method of escape.
It sounds like you’re basically a playing a match of Friday the 13th but with Predator Hunting Grounds gameplay & rules. Fireteam has to either kill the Pred or repair a vehicle of some kind to escape.

BTW I did have to paraphrase a lot of that description because if I posted the real one word for word there could be trouble, devs obviously don’t like people poking around behind stage. But yes we do know there are at least PLANS for every single map to have a night time variant & it sounds like it’ll be a unique mode based around Fireteam surviving the night or escaping via vehicle like F13.

Now the only bad news is, there is a chance that this night time mode IS going to be Gauntlet. Because you could describe such a survival based mode as “Running the Gauntlet”. Which means we might not see a 3 Preds vs 12 Fireteam game mode for a while. But this could also end up as something else entirely.

Well since everytime a “leaker” leaks something in a game it 90% never happens!
Bf2 is a big one! All the “data mined” bs they said never came to be!
Just like this game! They have stated before after “leakers” started leaking images and other stuff for this game that there are false hoods purposely or falsely naming modes like “Lone Wolf” being the tutorial.
So I’ll take “leaks” with grains of salt!!
90% of the would be “leaks” in the leak thread have yet come to pass and it’s been a year!!!
