Address your trash theories on exploits and hackusations, here.

Truthfully, I’ve been playing almost non-stop for a week and I can’t recall many people using the Bow. There’s been a couple for sure, but it’s mostly me getting Bonked by the Hook or dragged around the map by the whip like a stubborn dog pmsl There’s a lot of combi’s flying through the air, and the ones that just keep spamming and never use anything other than projectile Combi all seem pretty sus to me now that I know.

But now I know about the Bow, I’ll make sure to keep walls and trees between and the fucking lizard if I hear arrows whizzing around lol Thx.

Getting the bow to do a reliable one shot kill is not reproducible to my knowledge. Maybe 1/150 arrows will do that. Could be wrong.

The thing is, not many people know about the bow.
The bow damage is shit atm, so everyone went for plasma pistol. But the players that know, rock both combi and bow cause there’s a higher chance for them to one shot you.

As far as I know, nobody managed to reproduce the bug consistently 'cause they don’t know the trigger for it.

In my experience, it happens more often than 1/150. You just spam quick shots and one of those is gonna give you one shot one downed.

In rare cases you’ll get instantly killed, not downed.

Ah yes, I meant the one shot kill is 1/150. One shot down is more likely. They definitely happen more with headshots, so it kinda seems about right for what should happen.

Got it, thx. So if I see quick firing arrows then I know what he’s trying to do. I hope he can dodge this 50cal plasma shots or whatever this cannon fires that comes with Izzy, he’ll move quick enough lol I can’t believe I’ve slept on this class/weapon all this time, and it sucks for new players who see her in action and can’t even buy it now. Disney needs to sort this fuckery out.

I think you’re on to something there. Because every time I’ve been one tapped it has never been out in the open, it’s always me getting tangled and twisted up not being able to move because some rock/pillar/or whatever is stopping me from moving when I’m not focusing on where I am going as I try to avoid that bloody thing hitting me.

If I believed doing some experimentation to investigate the factors that are involved would help get it patched quicker then maybe it would be worth the time. I’m still inclined to agree with Xeno about it just being kept as a feature but then the problem with that is then it excuses the fuckery.

I’ll try and pay more attention next time I get dropped by the thing as review the footage to see if this is what is causing it.

Good info, appreciated.

First of all, NRV is trash bro against Preds.
It’s fun for trolling and good against AI’s but that’s about it.
The best sniper rifle is still SAW-Z.
Isabell can do a shit load of dmg, but then again, that class has no survivability, cause it lacks perk points and a decent HP pool.

See, you understand me lmao

I get some respectable damage numbers with it, that Pred WILL move, trust me. The tankier classes might take a few extra shots, and I swear those DMG numbers are fucking cooked and inaccurate because when I’m LMS and taking down healed Preds on my Jack Jones they drop. It fits my playstyle, bro’s so busy trying to take down the other three and doesn’t realise I’m hidden taking chunks out of his health bar lol This gun is the best fun I’ve had in years in this game.

Also, given how rapid you can fire off shots and when you combine it with PDL + Sniper it works surprisingly well. Give it a go, Izzy + Sniper + PDL is your lay-up, then the rapid fire the rifle and see how quick that fucking lizard backs off. And then there’s the range which is insane. Plus it’s not hitscan and projectile which I love because it’s so satisfying when you lead a shot and land it.

I just hope nobody starts thinking I’m aimbotting or something pmsl I’ll come on here one day and my good name will be getting dragged around like I was in the jungle getting violated by that whip roflmao

Yeah, usually Electra will be using that and I’ll be backing her up (not that she needs it, that girl slaps the Preds around the map the whole time, poor fuckers lmao) but she’s busy playing DBD now so I am having to adapt. I don’t really like the SAWZ, by the time I get that 2nd round loaded I’m half way up a tree with a whip wrapped around me neck. Fuck that thing lol

That’s why she has an insane Stamina pool, it’s ridiculous. I’m outrunning them and keeping up with them with no effort, and never really need to do the whole slide-charge move. She’s like Speedy Gonzales, I love it. They better not nerf her, I’ll be pissed having to go back to Assault Deadly.

My trick, especially if I’m LMS, is dump a clip then sprint to a new spot, and just keep moving to keep the Pred guessing. And I’m getting smarter with the PDL too, placement and managing resources is important because even with the extra starting ammo perk it’s still piss poor and runs out fast.

It’s a high risk, high reward weapon. You saw the XP you’re getting with your NRV + PDL combo, check mine from just one encounter. Saw-z + SMG.

Also good luck hitting Preds mid air with NRV.
You can’t do certain stuff with it that you can with saw-z, check the ilnk below.

I’ll just say that I have a couple of thousands of hours in this game and I tried every possible combo you can think off with pretty much all classes.
Having a sniper rifle and PDL really limits you, cause you don’t have a fast firing weapon for up close encounters and that’s why SMG (Uzi) or 1011 are the best secondary weapons.

Me and you bro, don’t get it wrong, but we have completely different styles of playing with sniper rifles.

If you wanna make a completely troll build just to fuck around with Preds, forget about Isabelle.

Take Owlf operative / Spotter with frags and ammo bags / hammerhead and PDL / thick skin, action hero and fast hands.

You PDL the base when you hear the clicking and watch Pred sprinting in slow motion like he’s an old man in a wheelchair and he’s gonna be slow as fk until he leaves the area where your motion detectors are and when they expire, just put them up again.

You don’t have to worry about spending them all cause you have 2 ammo bags anyway and 3 frags for just fragging the old man Pred to death.

It’s a fun troll build but at the same time, really effective, it fucks up Preds gameplay completely.

(Edit: Fuck, sorry about the essay!! Got carried away as you can see pmsl)

I do miss my Vectah ngl I kinda just hope that the 3 randoms have got builds where we can synergise. After everyone jumped games to go and play Manhunt and then Tsushima (fuckin Judas bastards! lol) I stuck at it for months playing with randoms in pubs.

I ended up playing Division 2 for 5000+ hours so builds, and especially build synergy in groups is kind of the mindset I’m still in. I hate metas, that shit got stale real fast and repetitive. Literally, any build that makes me cackle and chuckle is where I’m going to be.

Given that I mostly encounter new FT players and new Predator players, I don’t sweat it anymore. Especially new Predator players, I’ll deliberately hold off because I wan them to find their feet with this game and enjoy it to. Melting them game after game within 3mins fucking depresses me now tbh and if they don’t have fun too, they’ll give up on the game so more often than not I’ll put up a bit of a fight and then let them down me, claim me and then you can see it in realtime how they get a rush of excitement, their loving it and that means more to me than winning now.

The times I get a good Fireteam and a tough Predator player are peak, don’t get me wrong and I love a fucking tough fight that goes down to the wire but I’ve had my time with this game, achieved everything I set out to, proved I’m not a bot and so I want these new players to enjoy this game as much as I did. Given how fucking busted and unbalanced it is in FTs favour, my Izzy build seems ‘fair’ if that makes sense. I’ve got my busted builds but rarely use them. Like I said, I get more out of this game now seeing a new player enjoying this than I do melting them before the missions 2nd stage.

I think I’m growing soft in my old age brother lmao

Dont you get sick of Div 2 after a while? I played the main campaign and some of that seasonal stuff. Then i was like, why does people like this game so much they hang on to every single petty little cosmetic and new gun that comes out. i have no idea. I left that so last year after pretty much a year of playing it.

I stayed long enough to get that narly plasma gun which was straight ripped from AFTE, then realized it was under powered. Then i was like fuck this game.
Literally a game with zero plot…after the main one which was great to begin with but they killed it long time ago.

Its a serious single player game to be honest. Playing it with a group doesn’t have its co-op realized because you don’t necessarily need to help each other. YOu just plow through enemies and hope you got enough enemies to help the group finish the task. Thats it. No co-op or communication necessary in the AFTE sense but the weapons are really AFTE IMHO.

I wrote my review here:

Stockholm Syndrome, and yes…the grind got fucking stressful and tedious. And then when they introduced the new Expertise/Proficiency system it ruined it for me. I was just into the lore and the world building, I played Div1 and fucking loved it. Div2 in comparison didn’t have any ‘life’ to it. Div 1 had snow, you could hear it crunch beneath your feet and people would randomly thank you for being there for them. The story was amazing.

And that is what kept me going in Div 2, I loved Faye Lau and wanted to see her redemption arc play out but there’s only so many times I can do the same missions before I get bored. And most of the new gear sets they’ve been adding haven’t been worth the time…

They went radio silent for years, and then decided to pick it back up but the moment they pulled the old “Keener is still alive, and was the good guy the whole time” was when I was like ‘Fuck this, I’m done’.

They’re working on Division 3 now as well, but they better fucking stop with this stupid grind system and make it more gameplay focused. Like, you need a fucking maths degree or something to calculate certain damage output and then none of it really matters because they brought Strikers back and now it’s Strikers + Elmos and hasn’t changed for 2 years.

Once my Aspergs had burnt out on collectibles and achievements, nothing felt rewarding. Another fumble by Ubisoft. I’m so glad I never got into Splinter Cell because they got fucked over so bad. Seems a lot of big studios are adverse to making money these days.

Exactly. It’s that very fact which stops this game from ever being able to evolve imo And it isn’t the same game as it was in year 1 to me. When they gave us customisable Private Matches I knew then that the Devs had already given up, because basically that shit is a Dev kit disguised as an update lol It was like “We are sick of you guys telling us how to fix the game and balance it, and that you’re all frustrated. So here, take this and do what you want and fuck off!” pmsl

I don’t know what AFTE stands for, sorry?? I fixate on 1 game at a time so my knowledge of ‘gaming’ is limited to those select few games :/ But if you say so then I trust your opinion to be valid.

Cool. I’ll read that in a moment before I go to bed. Before I do, when did you play and when did you check out, which specific Manhunt Season did you reach? Just so I can gauge where you’re coming from in the review :) Because that game has gone through so many changes in recent years it’s almost unrecognisable now. They’ve added a few new modes, including a new Survival mode but I am so done with that game I couldn’t care now. And I won’t be fooled into buying Div3 until I’ve seen it first.

It was when they cancelled Heartlands that the spell began to crack. That game was promised and we were assured over and over it was coming, and then when it was 95% complete they shut it down and closed Red Storm. That royally pissed me off.

Im banking at least Avatar Frontiers of Pandora (literally Massive produced it and even that Rogue Gold guy who does all those DIv2 videos appeared on a live stream promoting Avatar on the steam page) will be a nice escape if only for a little while.

serious you know you played it Aliens Fire Team Eleite.

I must have wrote that prior to the Manhunt. But I finished that Manhunt season where you go hunt 4-6 different characters of Keeners entourage or something and its basically more story bits.,

I followed that but they yet to release it so I was no I’m not following this.
Its suppose to come out later as when they announced it they had only just started it.

and OH MY GOD, lets not mention the combinations of all those knee pads and backpacks and gloves which unlocks perks when you wear 4 or 6 of them. I thought it was kind of intriguing but its now a cosmetic thing…so weak. Somehow I’m suppose to feel like a superhero when all my costume matches? LOL

No :/ I was deep in the Division sauce at the time I think. I know Mardigan, Kalypsio and everyone else played it but after a month or so, no one bothered with it and it kinda died from what I could see. If I am fixated on a game, nothing is pulling me out of it until I get bored. Don’t get me wrong, it looked fun but it didn’t last long. Same thing with Evil Dead game. If I’m paying premium prices for games, that shit better keep me happy for at least 18 months. (The only reason I keep coming back to this game is because of sentimentality and nostalgia shit, and Predator being tied to a memory of my grandparents. I didn’t intend to fall back in love with it like I have this time, but fucking Electra got me so hyped when we were playing…only to ditch me for fucking DBD. I keep hoping she’s going to come back like a dickhead. Once I finally accept that, I’ll float away again and maybe return randomly like I used to. Fucking bitch lmao).
