Fan Gatekeeping is a sin unless it’s actually just a bad/hypocritical opinion. Not liking something (Isolation) isn’t grounds for “fake fan” as liking something else (Colonial Marines). It’s only when you believe some ghost pepper hot ass take that no one in their right minds agrees or better yet goes against what the subject/genre signifys.
Like thinking Godzilla movies are “All about the monster action” when it’s clearly not.

Everyone has their own opinions, likes and dislikes to their favorite franchises and still be a fan
Im not huge big time collector like everyone on here but i do like having something from my favorite franchises i missed out on getting the resonating chamber of the velociraptor from JP///
I am looking forward to playing aliens fireteam cause i would like to see what kind of xenos they have planned for the game and hoping they add hicks, hudson or Ellen Ripley later on
I honestly was hoping for sound design on par with Isolation. The sounds of hearing aliens footsteps gave xenos weight and realism.
The videos dissappointed in this regard and one review on the Alpha Build said everything inculding the xenos and weapons sounded like it was either non-existent or favoured everyones expectations of it sounding like an authentic pulse rifle (this is just an excuse for ColdIron to not give a fuck- we all know sound effects these days are a dime a dozen to come by and stock sounds are plenty. They just grabbed sounds from Fox’s library and how hard is that? At least Creative Assemble made some very iconic sounds that we never heard before and it MADE THAT GAME REAL!).
The emphasis really in this game is to level up, grind and level up again. Change gear and test…and in the end we’ll just want them to produce more options which we will buy and test and feel underwelmed.
I was really wanting to get the Delux edition but I feel they are barely scrapping by and only deserving of a playtest. Another reason why they had an early alpha demo for their review board. We won’t be getting a demo oursevlves, but we could always get a refund once we buy it (or after our own personal play test on release) if we don’t like it right?

Arachnid, razor claws and Chrysalis aliens they also have the v2 of the rhino but the v1 looks cooler with the orange coloring i have a list of xeno figures i want to get for my future shelf scene displays im gonna make
