Aliens ft

James Cameron has played Aliens.

James Cameron rates the game C.

C for Cameron. This equates to around an 8 out of 10 based on a few hours experience.

PvP would be nice but the ai xenos do well enough. The progression system seems good and the classes are all genuinely different.

Remastered AvP2 is a remastered masterpiece.

I agree with this

Phg has peaked; it has become a standard for comparison.

Doubt it was in development even a year and half, the company was bought and sold like twice between then and now.

It’s a poorly optimised game like frame drops worse than PHG, I’ve bluescreened multiple times on my PS5 now. The characters arms look like PS2 renders, large frame drops cause the Aliens to literally be on top of you, failed a lot of missions that way now, if you bluescreen, your mission mutator disappears and isn’t given back but at least the loot from hidden caches stay. Mines tend to not set off properly. You can literally be knocked over by thin air too.

Runs fine on PS5 for me. Zero crashes.

Wasn’t part of the problem with cyberpunk being that they took a large game and tried to optimise it too much for last gen consoles? From anything I seen it seems to be somewhat playable on pc?

Part of it yes. But the game didn’t see development until it was nearing its release date which is why it launched as poorly as it did. They had a team on it but nothing saw a full crew until too late.

Newer hardware and decent PC can run it but Sony pulled it from the store (it’s since come back with a warning) because it just didn’t function correctly on PS4. Essentially because nobody had the time or the technical expertise to get thing running. It’s fairly large but it being large was the Reddit excuse since it’s otherwise just undercooked that still doesn’t even work.

I need to know this: is there a way to get it to run on Windows XP? Otherwise my pc gonna have some problems.

Seems to be a common theme these days , half assed games pushed out for cash with little to no fucks given .

I seen it was back on the store , I borrowed it not long after release and I was curious to return to it since all the updates , but alot of what I seen it seems to still run like shit

Bruh

The jokes on you pops, the hardware requirements only support videocards that have support for the earliest windows of version 7. And Xp would only have support for Direct x 9.0c. so there.

Windows 7 supports Directx 11, and all the hardware listed in the requirements have windows 7 support and not anything before that.

Back to an eternity of Pong, I guess.

I still blame its complete failure on the fact they scrapped more and more concepts the closer it got to release to a point where we just got a single buggy campaign with literally no AI in the game and they still decided to put the remains of the corpse of the game out.
A lot of the stuff has nothing to do with base ps4 either, lifepaths, the real augment system, parkour, dialogue, careers (including the real bounty system), all of that is gone the only thing that survived was parkourless Mantis Blades that you just sprint up to people with and do the same kill animation on lol. Not even the multiplayer made it and is now delayed indefinitely like 3/4ths of the original features in the game.

Once it got to a point in development where cops teleported ontop of you and can’t pursue you at all they should’ve just cancelled it.
Had no business being an open world game.

fire team in the name was a dead giveaway how shit it was going to be lol. but then they slap elite at the end like it changes everything lol. game looks cheap and the npc’s mouths don’t even move like what the hell is that.

Try the game might change your mind

It’s a good buddy game.
That’s it.
Theres nothing special or cool about the game.
