For the fact that it is not a metallic mask, I can’t fucking imagine how horrendous the alt shaders are lmao
Now it makes me wonder how that works because I have the jungle hunter, but I alongside others who pre-ordered can’t even mess with '87 mask colors until we birth it from the field lockers ffs.

Yea I’m not crazy about this, considering there’s so many more looks we should be getting first, the City Hunter being one. But hey it’s optional cosmetics and I’m all for as many options as they wanna give us.

To late to ask for a different appearance first now. Whenever they drop another skin after this one, it HAS to be City Hunter.

Nah I want alpha he’s a legend pretty much and adds diversity to the game I don’t want a pred I seen in the movies cuz It wouldn’t feel right I want preds with new capabilities that are Better than a normal hunters alpha is a 100th anniversary pred from neca toys and was badass and he’s like an ancient if I saw him in ma match I would jus give up lmao

As a Predator main who loves Jungle, City, Wolf, Scar, you name it, I won’t be buying that if its DLC, its horrendous.

Same here. The skin underneath the helmet/armor is beautiful imo, and so are the preddlocks…but when fully dressed it just feels out of place overall. Lore behind it sounds kinda interesting, but if its that primitive then it must not have cloak, plasma or visor.

Alpha is a big hooray for people who like Predator lore that extends far from the movies, as he’s basically the one who started it all. Jungle Hunter is cool, but Alpha started the Yautja Culture.
He’s still having technology due to the technology not being his own, the Amengi’s.

this is actually kinda cool. I think having that backstory in the game somehow would definitely add appreciation for the class. im intrigued now to go look into the lore so thanks!

You’ll find a lot of his lore by looking up the NECA Toys figure, as while he’s a NECA Original like the Kenner style Viper, Alpha is pretty much Canon at this point.
I think its just to humour us that we WILL be getting the falconer and the other two from Predators considering the recent ‘other’ leak!
It just goes to show that they could make people go WOOW at the site of a new predator let alone a rather bizarre looking one. one we didn’t expect.
I like it. It’s very unique. Unlike any other Predator we’ve seen. I’d like to see the City Hunter but he’s very similar to Jungle Hunter. This one in turn marks one of the very few instances where a vague piece of the Yautja lore becomes canon.
ya my hope is they drop in the city hunter with a new map or game mode to make it a dlc with a theme as opposed to just another predator skin. new main menu backgrounds and stuff we can select would be neat.

I’m totally with you on not really liking the Mask. It’s so anti-Predator it’s ridiculous. I just posted a few minutes ago about how they should have went 100% in with the weird, elongated Neck design that Van Damme wore in early test Shoots. Imagine that silly thing hunting you down!? Add in a Red Shader/Skin and I’m all for it.
The City Hunter from Predator 2, Wolf from AvP Requiem, Comic entries like Bad Blood and Novelization entries like Broken Tusk and Machiko would be something that us dedicated fans would go nuts over. I’d also love to see Maps based off that '87 Predator Firefight (with the Truck) and Ryushi (the Location of Alien VS Predator: Prey). Those would be amazing.
Either way, you can’t deny that Illfonic are just as passionate about Predator as we are. I’m stoked to see what’s in store.
