Any reason to play this game?

I play mainly for two reasons

#1 To hang out with friends
#2 To grind enough VT and finish unlocking all cosmetics because of OCD

This game is so niche that there’s little competition for players like me. So while there are a lot of other players who are exceptionally better than me, is not like I totally suck at it to the point it gets frustrating to play it.

It’s the only ‘asymmetric’ game I know - with ‘asymmetric’ I mean:

  1. as FT it is a multiplayer game - in the sense of “playing together with multiple humans”
  2. as Pred it is a singleplayer game - in the aforementioned sense - but you play against very intelligent AIs (I mean the human FT:)

Furthermore it is the only game I know, which you likely also could play blind - the audio amount is impressive - at least POV FT.

Moreover and foremost the jungle (and all) has been designed so nicely and in such a depth. The details make this game so wonderful.

What do I mean with details: if a pred runs over a branch, the branch swings and leaves fall down and so on. I am playing since some year and still discover new things…

Some parts, alike the controlling of the Pred and matchmaking, seem to be programmed quite lousy, the ‘tutorial’ is a shame, if you ask me, and there are further weaknesses.

But the overall DESIGN (and probably most of the programming too) just is great, from my POV :)

That’s why I am still with PHG… C U in the jungle then :)

Reasons to play.

  • It’s fun, bullshit aside it’s a fun game to play.
  • personal preference.
  • has melon shader for pred, I will not rest until FT melon shader is added alongside pred mask melon shader and FT knife melon shader.
  • great to play with friends (not the best reason and can be applied to most games but fuck it it brought all of us together)

I know quite a dozen of people who deleted the game as well… none of them actively come here to post shit…

In all honesty, sounds like bullshit to me and you probably solo queue playing against AI because you suck as a player

This game is simple enough that if you are somewhat a decent player you can enjoy playing while you have a good time. In other more mainstream games full of highly skilled and competitive players, you just can’t do that. You need to focus so much that it takes the fun out of it, or at least my perspective of what is fun. Some people have fun playing like that, to each its own.

Cause it’s the only predator game out. That being said, I still play the game for like 3-4 days heavy, then take like a month or two off. It’s just too boring now.

Which coming from me is very very very bad. I’m a MASSIVE predator fan. Like the biggest predator fan you can even be, and I still don’t like this game hahaah we play it cause it’s all we have.
