Many instances of blue screening were fixed! Unfortunately, there are some we are not able to replicate or isolate properly. If you’d like to assist us, feel free to contribute to our bug reports.

In the interest of making sure we release quality content and don’t have to rush, we don’t have a hard date quite yet. It is coming though!
Actually, a lot of us would love to help more. @Elliott626 and I would personally volunteer to squash any bugs you guys may have found, or even playtest patches. Whatever works for y’all.

How many media outlets do you monitor, for curiosity sake? I’m on the facebook and reddit for this game, and I’m seen numerous bluescreens to this day still. And the sound bug, I got them every single match for 40mins the other day, on various maps on both Pred and FT, so you can’t tell me you guys can’t replicate that when it happens so consistently, and to many people. Or perhaps you can, but can’t find the solution…?
Y’know, also, little updates like this would be very much welcome, but on a regular basis, not when being called out. Just a little suggestion.

I work closely with our social media manager so I’m aware of occurrences on our other platforms. Remember that a bug happening multiple times doesn’t imply it happens consistently with the parameters laid out by player reports.
In all fairness, tracking common but inconsistent bugs is hard. Having worked in R&D unless you can replicate it 100% of the time, you will unlikely find how the bug started to begin with, specially when developers submit a lot of changes in a commit without testing each change individually.
Depending on the man power, while not practical, they could ask someone to test each individual change that was submitted in a single commit when the bug started, but it is very time consuming and you may not find the bug at all, as sometimes bugs can be introduced not by a single change, but a combination of some.
This is why recording/streaming while playing is so important, so you can analyze the gameplay and try to replicate the problem.
Having said that, it does seem like these guys don’t really test the game thoroughly when they submit changes. We have asked to help, for free. Literally out of love for the game and possibly some work experience that may look nice on our resume, but the response has been silence.
I’ve passed on the sentiment on community bug testing, but I believe there are issues with bringing in additional community testers without providing them compensation, which we currently aren’t able to do. We currently have a dedicated paid QA team.
I can understand that. And I know they have a small team split up between different projects. Tbh I don’t think the sound bug will ever be fixed BECAUSE there’s too many variables to go through. Like, sometimes it happens many times in a row. Sometimes only once or twice. Sometimes not at all. Its just a very annoying bug because it renders tracking by sounds useless, so when playing FT you have to hope you’ll get SOME kind of audio cue that the Pred is near, preferably not when he’s slashing you up.
Also the bug sometimes goes away on its own, which is even more of a mystery. I feel like the cause is somewhere in infil, as that’s when it typically happens.

I honestly think about half the bugs on this game are ping/network related. To that extent, there’s not much to be done.
The audio bug for me is very rare. As annoying as it is, it is not as consistent as other bugs we have reported and we have documented how to replicate it 100% of the time, such as the inability to attack, fire, sprint, for both FT and Pred after pressing two inputs either at the same time or on a very fast sequence. These bugs are even more apparent with higher ping, but even as a host with 0 ping it can be replicated. The -1 bug which may be server related (only happens in pubs).
The no attack bug is literally the reason why I created a cheat for this game to compensate for it. And as long as the bug is there, I’ll keep using it. no Shame. #FixThatBugPlease!
You’ll get your public test branch and community surveys when the devs are less busy putting all their man hours slaving away fixing these fixed bugs for two straight years.
next patch is netcode rework and 5v20 mode.
So you’re telling me you guys literally cannot afford to pay for QA testing right now?
Public beta should be a thing. Many games offer such branches. I don’t see how is it impossible for them to do this.
Thier an independent company gotta cut em some slack thier not Ubisoft or any of these other giants

Oh well if you’ve worked in the business then I can’t argue anything cus im an outsider lookin in and I jus knew that they were a independent small developer company
