I used the xp perk while grinding for Elder back in the day, still carried hard, don’t blame new players for wanting to level up a lil faster
I played predator when I wanted to level faster. 10k+ a round in most cases of repeatedly downing ft. My highest was 15 or 16k whereas with ft, I dont think I’ve passed 8-9k, with most games around 5-7k.
You’d think on paper with matchmaking times ft would be better but realistically, you never know how a games gonna go before you’re only taking in 3-8k a round with a total of 15-30k per hour compared to predators 30-50k. It just seems slower from matchmaking.
I do an avg of 4k dmg to pred (solo), I spot literally everything and collect every VT I have, majority of the times this gives me more xp than the pred

with Pred I so get the same or more XP, but by the time I get a Pred match done(including the wait time) I could have done 3 FT matches
