I hope this update will be worth the wait, Ive uninstalled it from my ps4 for now cause of the crashes.

I think its gonnna be a fat update. Map and gamemode and all.
But I have concerns that:
New map is gonna run like ass, especially if its bigger than current maps.
Issues with the games balance are gonna seep through into new gamemode, significantly decreasing fun factor.

- The new map/gamemode will be fun for a while, but its going to be same shit different stench if you catch my drift, so its gonna get old quick and all that work will not have been worth the time put in because the game is so repetitive and boring.

They need to have the framerate stable for this patch otherwise the new map will be worse than backwater. And it will sour the patch in general for people.

They are balancing the game based off the movie, which takes the fun factor away immediately. 2.0 balance wise is okay but the fun factor its gone down.

All of that is true. Some people still find it fun to play FT with friends. Preds are getting more creative builds and those players that were good are even better now because of buffed FT. New map and mode should bring more variety too
The game should be fun to play first competitive second, I hate that there making this game so competitive, I mean a challenge is good but this is seeping into a bad competitive seen.

Either way they hopefully learn to find better spots to recover from second wind or to approach FT diffently or more cautiously
I feel that that falls more on the fault of players than it does on illfonic. Illfonic just gave us the tools to our own destruction.
Like imagine giving all the african countries short range nukes that could only hit other countries in africa? Eventually them bastards are gonna fly and wipe it all out. Thats basicallly what we have here. And because dare I say most of the actual predator fans have left because this game is such a shit experience for them, and now all we have is the overarching multiplayer community to come play cod with aliens ofc its gonna be toxic.

Yeah most people play kill the alien at this point, and honestly the bane buff was worst mistake in patch, new players run into any ft player that knows what they are doing they get melted stop playing the game, we will have no playerbase if its not newcomer friendly predator side, which it isnt, I feel bad for people that played on the trail weekend and just got melted.

I despise the amount if sweat this game has especially if you want to play Predator.
That is my problem with this game. Especially since its now endorsed by the dutch audio logs. Its clear that this really isnt a predator hunting grounds. Its a fireteam hunting grounds. They are there to capture preddies and their tech. And thats the core issue with this game.
It really doesnt follow the movie, its the opposite. Thats why preddies cloak is so buttfuck useless and everyone justifies the FT buttdiddling predator every chance they get.

Thats the mindset behind the balance of this game.
The Predator is prey no question, its not a threat, its not fun to play, its stressfull, and has the most technical issues, but anything ft related they barely have any technical issues besides some weapons and cosmetics errors. Im still staying until its sunk but this doesn’t bode well for its future Im still trying to optimistic and I still will, but this is really rough patch.

Eh. Its been a downhill slope since the beginning. Ill do what I can to save her but shes already starting to buckle at the mid ship and pull a titanic. Only thing keeping us afloat now is the plethora of passengers (aka casuals) that are strewn along the edges of the hull somehow keeping her bouyant by holding their breath 🤣

The game can add more stealth over time. I’m just not as pessimistic as you are right now, things are what they are but they will change. You’re only seeing more action focused players because you’re looking for them.

Eh not necessarily. The polls I ran on the forums were night and day. 70% stealth 30% action first time. Basically flipped second time. The game has yet to really change in any considerable way, and as such the stealth players are saying fuck this shit im out. And the action players are coming in troves. Which hell, maybe that keeps this game alive longer because its the easy way to a sustainable playerbase. But its not the easy way into a pred fans heart.
