Yees this. Source: Have autoimmune disorder & severe asthma. Thankfully my immune disorder doesn’t affect my vaccination status wise, so I was able to get it. I’m still wearing a mask bc 1. I work in a med setting dealing with bodily fluids (standard procedure pre COVID anyway), and 2. I don’t want to pass anything to any of the patients.
Arnold will no longer be back
Not to mention his harnessing of gravity and quantum mechanics themselves. Everything you see in his movies? That ain’t CGI, he has just manipulated reality for it to occur.
The t1000 , thats when he earned my respect
Reduces.
Yes I have. The “news” you promised seemed to be an unrelated rant about something else.
You are clearly a broken person.
A supermarket with a face covering policy equals a forced injection?
You are a broken person. Defective. Your entire product line needs to be recalled and either scrapped or flashed with new firmware.
I’m discussing experimental vaxxes and you’re still on about being mildly inconvenienced by a mask.
You’ve gotten the flu. You’ve killed grannies.
oh man maybe the ad hominem attack will make me take the vax now
Finessology believes your right to live is less important than their right to not wear a mask while at the store bulk buying all the toilet paper.
hell yeah gas light this man
Masks are no longer the issue.
Employers and businesses mandating the vaccine, hell look at New York, or the Las Vegas Raiders football team. I’m all for businesses setting rules by which they expect their customers to follow in order for them to do business, but there is a fine line between wear a mask and inject this experimental cocktail into your body
Ok, so I’m gonna say this from purely a medical standpoint and I truly hope that this can settle both sides:
Is COVID Real: Absolutely. My grandparents aren’t in the hospital hooked up to an iv and steroids for nothing.
Has The Media Blown It Out Of Proportion: Absolutely, the media’s fearmongering and trying to get views like normal.
Why Wear A Mask: It helps reduce transmission rates for an airborne disease such as this. It won’t 100% be effective, but every little bit counts. This is important because COVID may not be dangerous to a healthy young person, but the elderly, immunocompromised, and those with respiratory issues are all at much greater risk for having serious complications due to COVID-19.
Shady Vaccine: Not at all. The big fear with this type of vaccine is that it is a mRNA vaccine, meaning it directly works with the immune system instead of introducing a weakened variant/sample. This really just skips a step and is a pretty fucking huge advancement, as traditionally you cannot give a vaccine for other classes of coronaviruses such as the common cold, but now we can. Actually, that is why we had the vaccine so damn fast, we had almost made it for the common cold years before hand and are working on fine tuning it. With COVID-19 it was simply switching the preexisting methods for a different strain of the same viral classification, which is pretty easy.
And no, there is no correlation between vaccines and autism. NUMEROUS reputable studies have shown that there is 0 link, but anyone in a less reputable study can easily manipulate factors, omit data, and cherry-pick the rest to get the answer they want instead of the truth. If 20 highly reputable studies are conducted and all show no link, but one crackpot “study” aimed at giving a specific answer instead of the truth says there is a link, people will cherry-pick the studies for that one because of confirmation bias.
My personal view: Should you get the vaccine? In my opinion yes, but that’s not my choice to make. Your choice there. If you don’t get the vaccine should you wear a mask near others? Definitely yes. If you have the vaccine should you wear masks? In my setting in the medical field yes for sake of sanitation and preventing spread in a high foot traffic area, but if you aren’t near a large group of ppl, no problem. I can’t force you all to follow guidelines and safety policies, but I can only recommend that you do, for the health and safety of others.
no idea why hes strawmanning about masks.
Ive got no problem with wearing a masks and taking some vitamin C like a spicy flu season, but that’s clearly not the endgame here.
I do have an issue having no legal recourse from side effects of a vax sprinted to human trials as a huge money making scheme where sketchy contracts are put into place to force as much money out of countries as possible.
I stay home when I have flu. If the flu vaccine was as widely available as the covid vaccine over the years then I’d have got that too and hopefully protected a few grannies. That’s because I’m not a totally selfish excuse for a person. I infact live with someone who is vulnerable to flu and have had the vaccine the past few years.
One can only hope that since you are fluent in latin that you will apply your intelligence usefully and start helping save lives instead of possibly ending them.
Because despite James Cameron’s best efforts you still seemed to insist that masks are not for you.
Which is correct in a way, they are for others.
Anyway. James Cameron has reached the point where it’s clear that you cannot be convinced and even if I could provide you with absolute evidence you probably call it fake so this is now a futile endeavour. Once I’ve flown a flat earther into orbit to prove the earth is round I’ll get back to you. For now James Cameron is finished with this back and forth.
End transmission
???
Ya see, that’s my thing: you wanna put yourself at risk? Go ahead not my problem. When someone puts others at risk though, that’s when I have a problem.
Yaaaay!!! Iirc though Fin said masks =/= vaccine, so I think fin meant they’re cautious on the vaccine but still fine with the masks for the sake of others.
die @TheSenate die you subhuman were my words exactly because I didn’t get the vax.
if I have a 1% chance of killing you I must
If I had a nickel for every time someone told me to go die today I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice & it’s only 10 AM.
They are for a lot of people though. Maybe not you personally but I see it all the time.
Thankfully I’m filming on Pandora right now so no covid.
As for the vaccine. James Cameron believes it is absolutely someones right to refuse it. It is also a store owners right to not let the unvaccinated in their store. Remember those signs most little places had, usually above the door or counter? They all basically said we reserve the right to serve or not serve whoever we want. It’s a difficult issue with no easy answer. But if it’s private property then it’s up to the owner. If I was immune compromised for example then I wouldn’t let a sick person into my house.
I need you to pick a side here sir.
What about the environmental impact of all these non bio degradable masks? Plus didn’t people say for years we have an overpopulation problem which means we use too many resources and contributes to climate change? Now we gotta save every 80 year old who’s on deaths door anyway and use even more resources keeping them alive?
And if this virus is so deadly, and masks are a good way of slowing it down then why don’t we have specially marked disposal bins for them? Wouldn’t we want to keep the masks contained in one area instead of flying around and littering the streets while coated in a deadly virus?
Ok. One more reply.
Vaccine. Something being put in your body. Should not be forced.
That was about masks, which I’m sure you knew. You steered the argument away from those as soon as it was convenient in order to try and twist words. Just as you are aware that the obvious joke about killing @TheSenate was actually meant to be about the fact that people will have literally died because someone wanted to pretend they are on par with George Washington because they refused to wear a mask.
So hopefully that’s clear enough now.
Ok. Have a good day/evening/whatever.
