Tell me, if net gets changed to gear, in exactly what situations are you planning on using it?
Where you think it would be most effective.

Because I only see it helping completely, like how you want, vs only one guy left.

How many times have you dodge a net?
Like you see how easy it is to deal with the net as ft if other ppl are alive.

in the same situations i’m using a BT except instead of chuking a disc and hoping it hits them i just shoot them instead or if i’m on the approach and there are 2 individuals i’d shoot one then start attacking the other one if one was fighting AI meanwhile another is doing obj i’d shoot the AI one and go for the obj rat

if during a scramble there is a Field medic i can net him so he doesn’t instantly revive people

the list goes on and on and on

oh and hell if i had medic perk i could net someone and heal for 20% right in front of them

i get your arguement is CC isn’t as strong as you think making this item a different class isn’t that helpful and in your mind BT is more effective than nets anyway so why would i take X over Y

when on my side it’s i wouldn’t ever take this item over it’s other options cause it currently requires a perk to do so effectively
and it doesn’t do the same thing all other options are which are kill people it stops people from doing things like the gear does
and i would take Nets over BT cause it’s more reliable form of “stop fucking shooting me or stop fucking doing that”
and i think CC currently is strong enough to turn the tide of any match if it’s done well

So you dont use the sound of bear traps at all to make them panic and not be sure where they can step?

Look man if it were up to me, I’d use something actually effective unlike the net or traps.

Problem is, nothing has a good enough impact.
Not vs a full ft.

Sure we can use the net and traps to fk with one or two ppl.
You might even kill em with it.

But a half a second disruption isnt enough to help vs a full ft.
Especially if it’s one of the ones we’ve played on.

How many times has the net completely turned the match in favor of the pred vs you?

And traps.
We destroy them almost as soon as they go out.

Anyone that pays attention anyway.

You know what I’d like?
More powerful DOT damage aoe.
To help vs a full squad.

I’d like flash, napalm, or poison grenades.

Stuff to actually fuck with a group and effectively chip them down.

With current ft dps stuff like this is what pred needs.

I still want mods for plasma caster.

literally everytime the net actually hits me now of course if it misses than yeah it does nothing and no cause i can assume if yhou have headphones you already know where the BT is so when i’m throwing it i’m throwing at the person who probably knows to either sprint straight to not get hit by

it or shootcause there probably shooting me or the trap cause you can destroy it mid flight

and this is why i don’t like BT compared to Nets

this actually exists it’s called the katana right now (if you don’t believe me that’s fine i’ve already beat 2 premades because of it one on PC one on PS4 so far only Kid_Scoutz group was able to stop it but even his group said that was certainly the best attempt they’ve ever seen go against them since the new patch and he gave me the win even though we tied cause i successfully SD’d)

We need every tool in the shed against FT. Don’t feel bad for using anything. We need a pred grenade or remote controlled mines.

It doesnt match ft dps.
Nothing pred has does.

So you managed to pull using the katana off.
That’s you.
I’m not talking about specific players.

I’d use the katana maybe if it wasnt as slow as it is and it felt as smooth as the combi.

So far none of the melee weapons have ever felt as smooth as the combi.
Aside from the elder sword they leave you wide open.
