They just made predator meta, even more meta. That is the prime perks everybody is going to use. Its BS! Imagine if FT could use the best talents on AS, it would be just as bad!

What are you saying? The predator is meta? That doesn’t make any sense. Tell ya what they did do, apparently buff bane which is already bonkers then buff thick skin, which basically removed the only issue with recon which is just lack of HP
No bud, the predator build, the talents I’ve listed above. Those where meta (with small modifications, like adrenal boost that you can still use).

Yeah, recon got a somewhat of a buff, not that big of a deal. On my support its worse tho, the new thick skin does not allow me to take something else I wanted because of the increased cost. You’re going to have downsides on other areas, something that predators don’t seem to have since they can still align the best talents.
I want to see this happen. All 4 FT with yuatja bane snipers, revolvers, vectors and hammerheads/aks

Those 3 have always been meta. That’s been the meta since day one. This patch changed nothing for predator
Aside of making those MORE meta, that is my point, now large pouch gives 1 more healing kit and TAKES NOTHING AWAY! The increase in cost is meaningless!

The only thing I ever do is sometimes run trapper instead of down range for some fun smart disc downs. That’s about it
They gave nothing to FT as of now to make up for the increased in healing for the predator. 1 more healing kit is massive! They actually nerfed the best AR that most people where running.
Hey man, I truly mean no disrespect here, but wouldn’t it make sense to judge the patch after a few solid hours of playing both sides AFTER the full release tomorrow? FT is getting some legit new toys to address your concerns as well.
Predators need to be OP to compete against 4 people. This is an asymmetrical game. It is designed to lean in the favor of one side.

Everything else you get is trade in for other gear(that is extremly important like med kits or ammo bags). That AR better be the AR to rule them all.
No, lol. They need to be on the same level as the squad. OP means they are OP compared to the 4 people, nobody is comparing them against 1 individual. Even with the lastest “last man standing” buff you should have no problem (if the pred is any good) soloing a single FT (just like before).
They gave the FT nothing??? They buffed like literally all there perks? And made a new secondary predator slayer weapon? Lol WAT. And ya know what would change your meta? The one you’re upset about?? BUFFING SHIT PREDATOR ITEMS! I’ve said this Over and over and over. Right now, the ONLY way to play is range. At the very least pick some off with range then you can close in. If you nerf this build the predator has nothing. INSTEAD buff useless weapons like the war club, make berserkers passive damage buff more than ONE EXTRA DAMAGE PER SWING(yes that’s all it is) and maybe we will actually see a variety of predators

I think you need to read what I’ve said again, I did not say they gave FT nothing. Read again, carefully, those words are part of a sentence.
Now if you think this game is still not going to be melee dominated I don’t know what to say, well perhaps not at top skill level but in general?

Melee was never useless, now its just not as “useless”. You just need to do (as before against decent teams) more then just leap in and melee. You need to poke that the health of the FT and then finish in melee. Use combistick into wristblades (as an example). Works wonders.
The top players?? The top players based on WHAT? There’s no ranking! We are running a tournament RIGHT NOW and ya know what? The ONLY predators to have won a ROUND are using strictly combi throw. That’s it. Melee is useless until you have either A killed some of them or B they are bad. Yes, you can drop in behind them and slice once and dip. That’s not “melee combat”

I think you did a bad job at reading what I said again. I said that NOT at the high level.
Melee does not mean rushing in and flooring a FT from 100% to 0. It means finishing him in melee. Its nonesense (if you ask me) to want such a thing. Its poke at them from range and when you create an opening drop on 1 that is low HP and fuck him up in melee. Yes, combi into wristblades its melee as its intended.
