Bear Traps or Motion Detectors: which do you prefer?
Oh comon man, I was being polite!.. he started!!!
Why me again…?
That’s true I get that.
But as far as how often.
Depends on allot of things.
As followed: From MY Day to day gaming.
I play maybe 5 matches with wait times of 3-5mins.
3-4 of them will have campers if I play on the Weekends before 4:00PM with my Bow and Caster.
That’s usually most kids either not understanding how to play, or a new player by any age.
But Weekdays I play after 7:00PM to 11:0PM, and I get 0-1 match of Campers.
But those are when the night owls are on PC, at least what I’ve noticed.
I also expect ALLOT of camping out of PS4 accounts.
And this is all from my experience so far playing the game.
Like even today Im playing.
And Im running motion detectors cause I know somewhere there is a match about to be nothing but squatters.
I’ve already had 2 so far my expectations are low but they haven’t changed yet.
But I love the idea of pushing for joined equipment and or maybe just giving the motion detector maaaybe something special to make it WORTH really running.
Yet, I personally don’t want them breaking the game.
They should probably patch more bugs first.
Than worry about the motion detector. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Wow I almost never have squatters. When they do appear, its like once in a blue moon. 1/30 games of playing PRed. its unusually fun but its unlikely unless they are really baked for it. Maybe there is a way to trigger this type of behavior. No doubt, i don’t know what the point it is to leave a camp group and thow motion detectors. Are You pig hunting during this time?
Are you ALWAYS partying with your favourite group of friends? Because this behavoir stems from group think. Usually when someone (one person) tries to camp, it becomes another players bane.
But I get your strategy, i just dont ever see myself using it.
On no if there are Campers in my match I’ll flush them.
Or “TRY” to anyways.
Like I encourage leaving the building please.
But, sometimes it can’t be done.
I either get bored and practice hitting explosives across the map with the bow.
(yah know, hoping they get bored squatting and leave the building).
Or try and nail them with motion detectors from different points on the map.
It’s not like their going anywhere…
I gotta have some fun to man, even if it’s me having to make it for myself.
But yah.
Not for everyone, just my personal bored-um.
But, it’s also my fault.
I know my matches before 4:00PM are gonna have squatters.
So I really should just stop playing before 4:00 and just play after 7:00PM.
Only problem is … sometimes I got project work.
And I do my project work after 7:00PM.
That’s cool you notice a correlation of good players during certain times of the day. Due to work, I only hunt at night.
It’s a habit now cause of Destiny 1. (when it was still alive)
I’d wait for 10:00PM to 3:00AM to hop on just so I could fight the Elite Clans when they were “Practicing”.
Then I’d sleep on it.
That way I could absolutely deck my friends the next day.
Cause going from Elite Practice to … normal casuals is quite noticeable in skill.
