The tournament that CptJeou created could’ve proved it, sort of, if more teams participated.
We could’ve got a more realistic view on who is really top but the sample size was too small.
I would’ve join but I mainly run solo or duo. I don’t have a team.
Just put them in a private match with the usual rules that doesnt let people use something that gives them an unfair advantage over others. No recontracker, dante and support. Pred doesnt use disk. Make everyone play on both sides and you will see how everyone compares.
Put everyone in a LAN network in the same room with a referee, you will see how everyone compares.

Ft really doesn’t have to have good ping. Just under 250 in my opinion. Obviously good ping would be preferred but on this game for ft 200ish isn’t too bad.
In highschool, I would run LAN tournaments at my house for Combat Evolved. The best of times.

Ping, hardware, software, etc. In sports (even e-sports) the players have to be in the exact same condition to show skill.

All preds were host, which meant every fireteam would’ve been subjected to bad ping or at least a majority of them. So the playing field would be even for the FT across the board.
It’s not only about ping, man. You know every serious e-sport is done in physical presence, right?

Come on that’s for a real tournament. Cptjeulo tournament was not that serious but could still have given some idea on who is a good team, pred, and player.
It did… it showed really strong FT teams and preds.
Thank you Gesp I’m glad someone thinks I’m actually a decent Fireteam member aswell as Predator. I was running Fireteam public a with Givahost yesterday for a while and put up 3500 damage on a PC Pred ‘Madman57pI’ I think was his name. Was a GG. Been doing decent with the Scout lately

Yes, but more teams could’ve joined to see if the universal rule applied to their group of friends.
I do agree with you and the rule. On every game, every group of friends and team think they’re the best.
There is one guy who says he’s the best pred on console. Delusions. Because his friends told him so.

This game is called PREDATOR HUNTING GROUNDS. Don’t think of it as a fps. It’s an asymmetrical game.
I think every “top tier” player in this game if they invested the thousands of hours into a game like COD would still be a great player. Would they be top tier in that game? Probably not, the sweats are unreal but they would still play great.
This game is small. It can still have top tier players. It’s more like big fish in small pond though. I know I play other shooters at a high level, if you have the sticks you have the sticks.

That’s exactly my point, why come here and start labeling and self proclaiming “top shit” in a non competitive game with no stats or scoreboards. I mean, if we really want to get technical, whoever has the highest xp at the end of the match is the best player. All you have to do is kill bunch of AI and complete objectives, don’t have to fight the pred to be the “best”.
But you know, they want to create their own criteria to what constitutes to be the best player lol gtfoh…
