As much as the response is reassuring, I do have to agree with the majority here. Hype building has a purpose. Hopefully the DLC Announcement/Release will have further news in terms of Roadmap “Part 2” and more teases, but there does need to be more from that from a consumer’s perspective to bulid up an actual following based on expectations. And reasonable expectations at that.

The Leaks haven’t exactly helped that, Clash’s Announcement and Release as the 2nd Game Mode after Hunt is a testament to that. Not that it was a Bad Mode, if just the usual glitch and all, it wasn’t what players had expected since A.).We have had no actual official Information other than said announcement for the Upcomimg Game Mode and B.) The only actual information there was to go on was Leaks and speculation based on said leaks.

Even through the Data Mining will and has ruined nearly all the surprises that DLC/Added Free Class announcements have, it is still worth to have hype bulit. Just my two cents.

Im afraid the MIB got to Tbrack25 and now he’s MIA.
Still leaks are leaks and if he didn’t share stuff already on reddit, it would have been someone else. And since Illfonic are so tight lipped, its not unusual because i’m sure if they weren’t tight, they would have done it themselves.

man i dont think miscommunication is sony’s fault. with Spiderman Miles Morales, for example they are allowing leaks because they generate hype … they have even seen a fight against Rhino. The problem is that if they cannot show what they have, it will be because: either they have nothing to show that creates hype or a beneficial atmosphere for sales, (in my opinion this is the winner due to the trajectory of the game) or, there is really no captain and it is a ship adrift aimlessly, to see what arises

I find myself agreeing with that. I don’t find the Leaks so much as causing the problem as they are simply a part of it when it comes to Player Expectations, not what is to come for the game.
