Can we talk about the Grenade Launcher

They need to bring back the previous impact option, right now minigun and granade launcher are usless. I think those 2 weapon need some buff.

I dunno if minigun is useless per se it’s more very situational. I’ve melted the Predator plenty of times it’s really a surprise motherf*cker kind of weapon. It really requires you to run fast hands because it’s something you need to switch to and shouldn’t be walking around with it out. If it were to be buffed I would reduce the spin up time

Grenade launcher on the other hand I haven’t tested it may be a bit of a gamble you could make them impact but then decrease the damage. I haven’t seen what damage they put out because I don’t ever use it or have stuck around to get damaged by it when playing predator. When balancing weapons you always have to consider it times 4 in case the whole FT decided to load it with it.

How long does it take to mow down a predator from his energy being full? An don’t tell me mini gun is awesome when hes down to the bottom cause then its absolutely useless.
Neither Grenade launcher and mini gun has the leverage of mobility/accuracy/ timing to be an absolute must. Its just niche to me. Like the pistols.

I mean how much of it does minigun bullets actually take off from the PRedators’ health bar per second.At Close and far ranges? I think there is a video for it.

Today I was trying mini gun for few games and I did 5800 damage on game (combined with hammerhead) and 4600 mostly minigun in a other game. You really nerd to run switch hand and the perk for accuracy without aiming. The problem is still the over all slow effect on you and the spin up time before shooting. They need to speed up a little bit this weapon because right is one of the worse.

Yeah I run Dutch so I already have a bonus to hipfire so it helps with accuracy but spin up needs a buff if anything.

Yeah I haven’t watched it but then again what kind of doofus would use it at long range right? I don’t have numbers I just have seen the reaction of Predators gtfo when they’re getting hit by it and getting out into 2nd wind.

Some weapons are meant really not to get direct hits but only to cause a jump scare like your said to get the PRedator to GTFO. Effective? Possibly.

Sticky grenade sounds cool. Imagine shooting it and getting a sticky grenade right on the Predators face and he has to just watch it eventually explode x’D

They nerfed plasma caster like 2 weeksafter launch and GL like 3 weeks after that (give or take a week) It was a different game and a different meta that maybe one or two of you got to experience properly.

I just loved how nearly everyone was running around with impact grenade launcher and the minigun on day 2 of the Trial weekend.
Most Preds were not even able to come close, when there were explosions all over the treetops. It was insane.

You can still use it, just shoot the grenades on the ground in front of the Pred, they are still impact grenades, but they got a delay.
