I mean, realistically, this game wouldn’t be on its last legs if they had just taken the continuity and replayability into consideration. Plenty of ways the game could’ve gone, and they chose the worst possible option, but also the 2nd most profitable. If they had introduced something like The Witcher or Warframe, hell even Deep Rock Galactic, it would’ve been a much better and sustainable game. But they went with a poorly thought-out asym and underdelivered. It’s just a matter of time until they discontinue support and reroute the small team currently working on PHG to Arcadeggedon or their Ghostbusters game. Don’t expect a year 4 of PHG
Characters Illfonic forgot to put in the game...
.
Honestly I think this game is gonna be like Dragonball Xenoverse 2, many people think it’s dead or should die but it isn’t and won’t. This thing is going to soldier on and is here to stay for the foreseeable future, or at least a few more years.
WE ARE GOING ALL THE WAY BABY!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I have to agree. I suspect this game will go on for quite a while until it’s maybe even bought out by another studio (same way Illfonic detached themselves from Friday the 13th).
If another studio picks it up I can see it being revitalized.
Execute predators like it’s mortal kombat and rush for 200 yds a game
You are right it might happen
Agreed. Right now, their best choice would be to sell the game and the contract to a more capable and reputable company. Been saying that for a while but it just keeps getting more and more true with each under-deliverance.
Don’t get me wrong, I used to be obsessed with this game, I still want to play it every day, but when it just falls apart at the seems almost every other match it gets to be daunting to find the will to sit in a queue for a minimum of 3 minutes, usually spanning to 7-10 minutes, I’m looking at the queue timer more than I’m playing the damn game. A solid PVE aspect would fix the queue issues, either play bots or wait in a queue, most would choose the PVE. However, if they were to remedy the queue issue, which doesn’t mean fixing servers or matchmaking, it means balancing and optimizing. What’s the chance of that happening? Slim, very slim.
Solution, start over. Sell the contract and rights to the game. They make their last pinch of cash from selling, use it to develop their obviously more beloved games(loved by the devs at least), and PHG hopefully gets the TLC it desperately needs.
Real shame how this turned out…
Yep, that’s what the game needs…characters who did literally nothing but die in the movie. Not like there’s a ton of bugs that need to be fixed or anything.
The bugs are a feature it makes the game stand out more then others
If another company bought predator hunting grounds then it might improve by at least 100000000000%
