It’s called advice. I wish to be matched with players running the same hardware as me and not having stupidly high fps compared to my console dropping frames left right and centre. Here’s a thought. You keep cross play on, i’ll keep cross play off and then we’re both happy!

Funny that so many people have problems playing pred and calling others cheaters… why don’t i have that problem ?
other way around is that its freaking easy to follow and spot the pred as fireteam and i get called out for cheater so many times … ? Im not cheating…I don’t even know how to use hacks … and mostly the people that accuse me are console players. Well if you cant handle it buy a pc, delete the game or get good.
The saddest thing is that i see allot of people talking here like its almost everyone playing on pc is cheating… thats just not true. Sure there are cheaters in every game. But the majority of pc player play fair and actually hate cheaters.
I think this has more to do with skills.

Ok i understand this and your choice . But it has nothing to do with “cheaters” (that I have never seen so far on Predator) and gltichers (PC and PS4).

Ok, so here’s the question. Playing a hunter with cloak energy cost reduction perk, sitting in a tree above an objective in cloak. It is not the objective the FT are at, I’m prepping this objective with traps for when they get to this objective. Developing my plan for this hunt, and not moving one bit, just using my right stick to observe. Dude runs from the SW corner of the map to directly under me and just starts head sniping me, taking large chunks of health off per hit. I leap away, run, leap away to the next cardinal direction, run some more, get to the other side of the map. I fully heal, i find a tree a good distance away, climb up in cloak and sit trying to see where they are moving to. Dude comes in from 200 m, runs straight up under me, starts blasting me in the head again. I leap away same thing across the map eat a pig hide in foliage in cloak about 50-60m away from where I healed dude runs right up to me with a shotty, I kill him claim him and run to the other side of the map. His FT is on the objective I prepped now. I run to the opposite corner of the map from that objective. He respawns and runs directly to me and 3 pumps me with a shotty… Then preceeds to tea bag me with the rest of his team. Game over 3 minutes. But I’m sure this sounds like legit gameplay to some of you.
Guarantee he was hacking in some way. I literally just watched this dude every time cross the map and just know exactly where I was. Funny in every other game, I can pretty much be licking your ear in cloak and heal as long as I don’t move, I am never seen.
I don’t stream, so if anyone can tell me how to get a video of this so y’all can see it that would be great. What are your thoughts?
I experienced an identical situation only once. It may be that a member of the Fireteam is a perks making it easier to find the predator (trace of blood or something else). I don’t know because I don’t play Fireteam. You should know one thing is that you are completely invisible only when you do not move. I have improved my hunting technique since the start of the game. I only use the hunter. I’m already starting to know where humans are spawning and where they’re going for their first goal. I move as quickly as possible between their spawn and their goal by making big leaps. then I go crazy in a tree (not always depending on the situation) and I activate the thermal vision, suddenly I scan them. Usually at this point I go on the attack because they rush the objective thinking that I am not there yet. Either I use the plasma cannon thinking to change position if they spot me. or I attack them with the net, I use the big jump to move away and I come back to the charge with the combistick for 1 or 2 blow to one FT , I jump once more very far passing in cloak, regen cloak and stam and come back for the same strategy. I always do that and I can swear to you that even players who have a good AIM have a lot of trouble seeing me coming. the mistake not to make is to hit a lot in melee, in this case you can not jump far because you will have more endurance same as sprinting. I use bear trap and I always use this repeated jump technique after each attack, until I drop one. I wait for another to come help him and I shoot plasma that which is on the ground until his death while afflicting damage to others. generally they leave on the second objective or lock themselves in a building. I tear off the head of the dead man and I always apply the same technique until the last. for the last one I play with like a cat plays with a mouse.
Well licking my ear cloaked and healing i would stick a knife in you because i hear you and can see your bloodspatters. Aswell if your cloaked in a tree i can hear where abouts in wich tree and wich branch you are if i stood underneath you. Good headset.
But yh if this story you tell is 100% and not over overdone i would think this guy is cheating aswell. You cant run from 1 side to another and know exactly where the pred is
I’m a lvl 100 Pred main. Yes I’m tracking that I’m invisible totally standing still, I have been beating a lot of good fireteams all week. Just never seen anything like this EVER.
Tracking the hearing, Pred is loud as hell, which is why most time when I get into a tree I crouch creep. But do you hear anything when the Pred isn’t moving in the trees? I have a very nice set of headphones, and I never do as long as they sit still. Aside from the creature noises occasionally, but they can bounce around a little bit in open areas.
Even if it is not a hack, it’s an exploit, and it needs to be fixed. One fireteam member should not be better at locating you in stealth than you are at locating him in mud.

He should not find you from 1 side of the map to the other so easily. Depending ofcouse if your bleeding etc. And i found the case you explained suspicious.
And yes i still hear him sometimes make the crackling sound. Not always though.
They should change the camo of the pred a bit more in my opinion and make him use no sound in camo. you can’t sneak up to someone like i would like to do.
Like if you crouch and walk that he makes no sound. If you stand and walk he does. Something like that.
I haven’t gotten mad at any loss I’ve had, sometimes they just never presented the opening for the finish, or I miscalculated my position and ability to move in and out before the rest of the team could respond. I always take my losses and learn from them, if I get outplayed congrats it doesn’t happen often, this one down right infuriated me though. It was so blatantly wrong.
