Honestly I’m a bit indifferent about the reinforcement timer. I never felt a huge difference, but I do understand some ppl annoyed by it.
I just dont see it as a reason for people to avoid reinforcing. But ya know, people think differently and I can see ppl panicking and just being like, I got to get the fuck outa here lmao
The spam alert is another issues. I have dudes spamming it in my head even when I run to get them revived and its harder to hear the damn predator. It should have like 20 seconds CD but put a message on your skin instead of the sound.
No idea how this devs have the worst ideas that end up being implemented.

When you need to wait that long for the reinforcements thing to pop up and then have someone run there and then have someone wait for the timer… Most times you’re also going to finish the mission where you are before leaving! Now consider the que its 1 min (about for FT). Don’t you see why people prefer to leave? You get back into action faster and yes, the devs did “train” them in a sense.
Sure, mate. But we’re talking about PC online game, where there are TONS of cheaters and hackers. Like in CoD Warzone the devs already banned hundreds of thousands of players for hacking. Same for GTA5. But of course “usually people confuse skill with cheating”, because cheating is sooo rare thing… it’s like to meet an UFO, “we need evidence!”. :P
This game is not really that competitive or mainstream. Not many people would even bother to make hacks for it. I’ve never seen 1 guy in this game that I could say “yeah, this guy must be cheating”.
It’s not a question of being mainstream or not. If a player used to play with cheats and hacks, he’d try to do it in every game he plays. Just because this is “fun” for him. And nowadays there are really too many shitty players who can’t get their fun without using glitches or cheats. Sad but true. Maybe I’m too negative and pessimistic, but I played a lot of online games last 10-12 years and faced a big amount of these “players”.
Then let me put it differently. I have yet to see a video of someone hacking the game. Bugs? Lots of them, exploits (like double slam)? Lots of them. But that’s it.
You should have played CoD: World at War back in the day, there were fuckers flew that around the map and one shot people by using a finger gun. If not there’d be fuckers shooting through walls or just flat out invincible.

Anyway, as far as this one, I can see the logic, kind of, in just heading for extraction. As sometimes doing that would be a better option. But it all depends on how the match is going.
But I just dont think that the devs should be accused of training people to leave matches.
Considering how many people complain about rage quitters, I doubt they want to intentionally make people leave matches.
As an unintended side effect? Yeah I can see that.
But as intentional training? I cant agree with that.
As for the length of the timer, i am indifferent about it.
Meaning I dont care if they shorten it or not.

I don’t think anybody is saying that was their intent, we are saying they are bad developers that keeps messing up the game and put half baked, half though out things into the game.
My answer was also about why they keep leaving since you said you don’t see it as a reason for people to avoid reinforcing. Not about the intent behind this new nerf to the FT.
This game’s netcode is nothing like GTA or Warzone. A lot of the reason this game is a buggy pos is that it’s a shooter coded like a MOBA or RTS. Everything goes through the server so yeah complete nonsense will happen when you’re lagging, but you’ll never see people speedhacking or flying around the map because of it unless there’s a serious leak on illfonic’s end.
99,99999% people confuse skill for cheating in this game. Just because they don’t know how to play and making excuse for every thing:
-get melted by a sniper = cheating
-going on the roof or any kind of high ground= cheating
-chasing the predator in second wind=cheating
-having any kind of graphic settings but being a pc player = cheating
-parry the predator = cheating
-play with friends as premade = cheating
-speak russian for a second = cheating
-not letting the predator win the game = cheating

NO, im a big player of this game, lvl 150 experimented main predator wining 95 pourcent of my game… I can tell you this august arrive lot of russian pc player cheating…Lot of playstation player turn of crossplay and the wait time becom very long… They are ruining this game…
