I don’t even care much about this particular argument. I just wanted to make it clear, I’m not just blowing smoke.
Also, I partially agree with what he’s saying in the OP.
- predators could use more distinction and specialization toward specific roles, like tank, glass cannon, stealthy Assassin, geared up Tactician, etc.
- I just don’t agree that there all essentially re-skinned variations, with ZERO role distinctions or effectiveness
As far as the Mercenary…
- I understand that the lack of extended mags was important to keep it from out classing the Hammerhead
- I just don’t agree that it would be overpowered with extended mags, because of the longer reload time, increased recoil, comparative ineffectiveness at melee range, and lack of digital sights
- what I would like to see for the Mercenary is NOT extended mags BUT simply to have an extremely fast reload, like 1.25 seconds for the 30 round mag
