It’s just the reality of our current world. Games should be mostly strategy and mental effort, not muscle memory from hours of wasted screen time. It’s even worse if a game uses hit scan. Games like Call of Duty and Apex Legends are moving in the right direction with heavier assist. Of course, allow players to turn off the assist, but nobody cares how good you are at aiming in a video game.

If you were indifferent to people’s opinions (I’ll leave respect out of it, since that’s subject to interperetation) you wouldn’t post all your shitty ideas to make a dead game worth playing on said dead game’s even deader community forum. You would submit your ideas directly to the devs via their website or email, or better yet just contracted someone to make a fucken better game. You definitely wouldn’t be telling people you’re better than them because you’re a casual. You can think that, and you’d be right - sweats like us have a tendency to waste more time than is healthy on videogames. But for someone who likely cries himself to sleep at night because he’s stuck in a dead-end job and can’t find love (or equally likely, pays alimony) it seems a bit hypocritical to criticise other people who actually enjoy what they do with their life (reguardless if it revolves around a mouse or joystick) when you can’t even sort out your own.
