Sad that your feeble 13yr old mind doesnât realize that PlayStation has always made cross platform difficult to implement on every game that has it, they donât like doing it. So again I know your mom never taught you the virtue of patience, but you need to learn it. And as far as the whole âI canât invite my PC friendsâ statement. Does your mom pay them to play with you too?

Iâm honestly surprised they got crossplay to work period. Sony is so anti crossplay its probably written into the consoleâs code.

Im honestly surprised illfonic told people that there will be definitely platform crossplay invites to their customers before actually purchasing their unfinished product and then to just drip feed customers the old âweâre working on itâ story lmfao.

Microsoft they could help with crossplay on Xbox (new game on Xbox also is showing on pc example Gears 5)

As far as I am aware Sony is very anti-crossplay. They wouldnât allow it with minecraft because it would have meant making a microsoft account and the only reason they caved to crossplay on Fortnite is because it is the most popular online game in the world. They would have lost revenue by not participating by keeping purely PSN vs PSN in their own closed off, online ecosystem.
I hope they allow cross-play partyâs and going from illfonics responses to the question on their social media accounts it looks like that was their original vision.
Their response goes something along the lines of them working with sony and epic to resolve the problem.
So it tells me itâs a Sony issue. They want matchmaking on their servers to justify a PSN subscription (which PC players very rightly wont pay for).
They should have just partnered with MS on this one, or just gone with epic games and not made it platform exclusive to sneak in the epic games matchmaking.

for me thats sad what Sony doing but they wanted to Playstation be still exclusive console with exclusives games and multiplayer.

Destiny also has cross platform invites, but it was implemented like 2 months after Xbox and PC.

I think rocket league MIGHT, but not 100% if itâs just a case of maybe playing against PS4 players like with PUBG.
