It honestly feels the same. I haven’t felt a difference. Maybe as some say: you just didn’t face a good team before. Some players really know how to use nades for example, and those can melt you the second you get near them.

Load into a private match by yourself against 4 FT bots
Face them uncloaked and check the damage
Does it feel they are using damage hacks too?
For reference, a full clip (45 bullets) of the QR-4 (the weakest Fire team assault rifle) will take 1500 Pred HP at close range
Damage is ridiculously high on this game.
And while most veterans play on epic, there’s good players on steam and PSN as well as a lot of potatoes on all three platforms.
You’ll be fine. You’ll come across a full veteran pc premade probably once a week. Is the only time you’ll have a hard time as the game is balanced around potatoes who can’t aim (therefore the ridiculous damage)

Scout duelist + Bane = 150% damage for 5 seconds with the 1011 (the best secondary weapon on its own) thanks to the sprinting passive (20%), duelist specialization (20%) and Yautja’s bane perk (10%)
Assault + Deadly + Bane = 130% on all assault rifles. 45 bullets of the QR-4 are 1500 HP, so… 1500 * 1.3 = 1950… Almost 2000 HP… That’s how much damage you can take with the weakest weapon. Hammerhead, gosl-r, ak will do even more insane damage.
Ahh sorry, I faced a lot of teams yesterday. Which classes were you guys playing again? Because I had like 3 matches in a row where I fought nothing but people 4-stacking Field Medic and everything else kinda blurred away.
I most likely was a Dante medic, I’m not sure about my other 2 friends. Maybe one of them another medic to be honest, but I don’t remember about the other one or the Randy. Still: well played; you got us all and the 7 kills.
Oh I remember that match. Yeah you made me work for it a bit considering I came in with zero damage buffs and had to contend with 3 Field Medics, 2 of whom were Supports and 1 Dante whilst using my casual Disciplined loadout. Well played to you guys too.

Against anyone else on Playstation except Onskie, you might’ve had a very easy win. But yeah, I could handle it so don’t worry. No hard feelings from me over such a cheesy strategy.
