Of course Boba fucking won, they used the “he fought Vader hand to hand” from the old (no more) canon EU to justify reflex, strength and melee combat
I cringed and knew of this was gonna end when he pulls out the fucking lightsaber

Ok, they were doing fine at first but then they started pulling some bullshit. I’m not even gonna get into it. They got a few things wrong with the Predator but it’s acceptable.
Big point is Predator had Boba dead to fucking rights but then… Stopped? For whatever reason? Then took one measly hit that was blocked by his armor and decided to self destruct? And then Boba lives by standing right on top of him as it goes off? Sorry, but I don’t think so. Beskar is tough but not thermonuclear fire tough.
You know goddamn well Predator won here but they had to nerf him down quite a bit.
Still tho… I did enjoy the fight. Too bad they pulled bullshit again to play fair to Boba.

It was really really really dumb, 1.) they didn’t even do proper research. 2.) They used a Young Blood instead of a a Elder like the mentioned with thousands years experience (even though Young Bloods have 100 years experience I knew they’d pull that bullshit). 3.) They only did research on AVP Extermination or whatever it’s called and a handful of movies while they literally used all the information on Boba in the comics (even some that where decanon such as the legends series).
If this was any named Predator like Cleopatra, Ahab, Scarface, Dark, hell even Prince Boba Fett would have been the loser. I guess they really wanted that Disney money even though they are both Disney Properties. I wish they could have at least humored us since Predator has a new movie coming, for once have the Predator win for some positive rep for the movie idk.

Yeah. I was disappointed as well and was expecting the pred to use the plasma scythe against the lightsaber and put up a better fight at least but they used and overpowered version of fett

Agreed, it seems kind of f***** up that they didn’t recognize the predators hunted the Justice League , Terminator, and even the supernatural witchblade/darkness. They kept pointing to them hunting the Bugs without really acknowledging that it’s a novice right of passage ceremony, so baby’s first day sort of s***. Of course if they can only be a Xenomorph they’ll get tooled by Boba fett, but an elder is better . Maybe an argument could be made that much like Batman preparation and foreknowledge of the prey is crucial, but isn’t that what hunting is all about?

Yeah this fight was a lot better just thought he would’ve died being hit by the saber but he could’ve easily dodged it so I agree with the win

This win I respect because actual work and research was put, it’s kinda sad though that this guys not gonna get as much views as DB. I wish that Predator had a face to the fandom, it’s literally nobody (I mean from the Yautja’s monster side)

DB is absolutley correct regardless of how you feel or how bad there argument/handling of characters were (even though honestly they handled it about as well as they could without jerking predator off into the stratosphere for a more even matchup)
a predator doesn’t stand a chance against legends boba fett
(also animation doesn’t dictate victor they have said this at every single Q&A they have ever done it happens before hand through argumentation and out of 10 win conditions the animation is for maximizing entertainment)
predator realistically only has 4ish win conditions with a 5th won if they used an ancient predator (1000s of years of experience) cause then it is likely the predator would win in a melee encounter but lose at the ranged encounter (light speed lazer rifle) which makes this arguable at best
1phoenix armor (neither side can kill each other) so tie
2predator lands an attack via smart disc or plasma scythe (which can never happen due to boba fett defensive feats) [see bottom]
3predator chooses to suicide with nuclear wrist device (boba could not survive nor outrun the predator via sprinting predator is likely to survive the bomb see Scarface)
4hypothetical no limits predator (we have techinically never seen the most powerful predators (council members on yautja prime or matriarch esc figures)
all other situations boba fett wins
remember the dude has 360 vision with thermal if needed light speed reactions (can dodge lazer fire) can lightsaber fight with darth vader and win he literally needs space magic to win the fight other wise darth dies
he has a flamethrower which can blind his opponent on use he has a rocket that can damage fighter/transport class ships into critical condition and then of course thermal detonators and his own blaster which is a light speed projectile that can burst fire
predator literally has nothing he could do aside from the 4-5 things i listed above and one of those is a tie at best another is argueable and another can’t happen due to boba feats with literally a 1/10 win conditions predator is taking an L here i’m sorry it’s the truth
they literally gave the predator that they used Scarface stats and likely gear as well it just comes down to statistically there is no way a predator could kill legends boba fett (you can tell they used scarface stats (via being able to fight multiple super humans feat)

I don’t think anyone argue do the predator should’ve won against legends boba. He’s overpowered we just wanted a fair fight against canon boba.
no there are clearly some here who think predator would actually win like NomadClan
hell the video he linked even proved predator does not have light speed feats he is subsonic+ at best (faster than bullets not faster than fighter jets) [and that video included legends boba fett feats like battling Darth]
therefore he can’t actually hit boba fett meanwhile boba fett can just shoot him to death cause predator isn’t fast enough to avoid the lazer fire
and due to 360 vision the predator wouldn’t be able to even get the drop on boba cause he would see him coming in every situation
the first thing you have to establish in vs battles is speed feats followed by feats that would allow the character to kill cause if speed feats is wildly higher than the opposing character than the fight is already over which is the case for predator vs boba fett

You know what, your right I did want Predator to win. All the points you made are true and I do agree we haven’t seen the highest feat a Predator can do, however like many are upset about, there wasn’t much research out into DB for Predator as there was for Fan Wars. I think that’s what most people including myself where upset about.
Another thing is that yeah they used Legends Boba Fett (which everyone saw coming, using a noncanon character’s feat into a fight with a character with unknown feats.), so why not use a Predator who no longer canon. There was a Predator who was decanoned and was a fan favorite, that being Big Mama because guess what was on her trophy wall:
I think another thing that people including myself was angry about the fact we had a Predator who is unknown to us, someone who to use we are tired of seeing and that’s Young Bloods or Blooded Hunters. I think Mercenaries / Enforcers / Elites or Veterans hell even Elders which DB mentioned to be the strongest and the top tier hunters in their research, only to throw that away for a Young Blood to face Boba Fett. So yes I knew Predator was gonna lose regardless of what DB was gonna put in their corner, it just felt poor in taste in matchup and research (even with someone like me and others who know the lore and everything behind the Predator that can make the fight even).
