The biggest Golden Carrot to Predator fans in over a decade, especially with previous projects failing, hoped this would be redemption.

See you all in 5 to 10 years when the next AvP or new team takes another crack at Predator again.

I wouldn’t trust Cold Iron to do it really. People say they’re working on bug fixes but I’ll be damned if any of them actually applied to my game that a complete reinstall still didn’t apply.

I can imagine something would be functional but given that for all the problems here Illfonic can at least deploy a working patch. I’m skeptical on the technical side of things with cold iron. Gameplay aside I’m just not convinced.

I can almost with all the digits on both my hands, the things that Illfonic didn’t deliver on, and with patches “saying they changed and fixed items”, yet they still persist.

Coldiron has done mounds of homework in what not to do (aka what illfonic has done with phg) and do it better for A:FTe and deliver.

Comparing both of their launches and the commitment to delivering a genuinely fantastic experience for fans, aliens takes the cake.

Think people are holding onto the fact there is no other predator game out there in over a decade and it truly blinds you to the majority of what is wrong with Phg.

We have a new playable class on the 8th for Aliens that will play different from the rest, something Illfonic still struggles to handle nearly 2 years into its games lifespan.

My 2 cents at least.
