It wasn’t the devs that just made the statement, you did 😁 .
Ignore the dead characters , a young and old dutch makes no sense , so the continuation angle doesn’t hold up , they threw the game together and intended on as little maintenance as possible while they lined up their next failure

The game is far from perfect
It’s painfully average especially given how in depth the lore is
But I don’t think it’s bad
Great either
It’s a middle of the road shooter based on one of my favorite film franchises
The game is leaps better than Friday the 13th
Also the beta for the next COD is on the 10th if you preorder
