Even if someone was willing to spend thousand of dollars on aws servers to try a ddos attack on your IP, wow… you get disconnected, your ISP assigns you a new random IP and you are back online. The only way ddos attacks work is if you have a static IP address. For that you need a commercial account which costs you hundreds of dollars (if not thousands, depending on your uploads speeds)… are you gonna tell me you have a commercial internet access account? get out of here dude… you don’t know what the fuck you are talking about

Lol plus I never say I did the attack, I’ve been hit by ddos attacks before and my friends have victims too. I’m curious and correct me if I’m wrong, but a long long time ago I watched a friend download a program for free that he used while playing CS to send multiple packets to the servers IP in order to crash it and annoy people when he felt some players on the opposite team were using aim bots or something. That’s DDOS isn’t it?

In another aspect you correct there is different types of ddos attacks a more simple one is to access the router and just turn its connections to the server that’s all. Hes just trying to over complex it to sound smarter

it can be done. most modern routers will block them (unless is a serious ddos attack which again, will cost you setting up multiple servers to perform the attack, which, again, costs fucking money, like… a lot). thing is, you might get disconnected for a minute or two, your ISP assigns a new IP and boom… attack gone…
