there is this thing among consumers where we know in a glorious time long ago in the early years of 2000/90s games used to RELEASED finished and done with few bugs if any in the case of nintendo products that would cause issues now albeit that isnāt always true but even on those games like KOTOR2 they still felt finished
were now we live in an age of companies KNOW they can release a broken buggy mess for FULL price and we will buy it and maybe they fix/finish it later maybe they donāt (ME andoromeda is one that didnāt) for example
now you might say āIllfonic is a small indie company they canāt be held to the standards of large triple AAA studios! thatās unfair!ā in which case i say well considering most triple A companies release broken buggy pieces of trash on launch i expect better from indie companies because they usually have the PASSION for the art form that they work on and when i see one that does not they donāt require any of the respect other studios of their calibur have earned

Some of the best games are because of this model. Siege, Destiny one, Overwatch. It just takes some time for them to get good. The beginning of game as a service titles are essentially like betaās.
Would it be nice if they actually called it a beta ya but at this point we should Just expect it unfortunately.
