Have you tested this in private game?
It should work for arrows, i dont think spear is classed as a ranged weapon so i dont see it working for that.
In a private match get someone to tell you their health and then shoot them, uncharged bow, and chareged bow (not headshot) write down the damage.
Then do the same again with the perk equipped.

I thought so it should really, like your all ways shooting at moving targets so u should get a reward for it :/, the only time a fireteam is still is when they are putting mud on and most the time u get unlucky I shoot as they are putting mud on and they happen to move just on time
So just the plasma shots it will increase, but still the shots have not been a really small hit box

we need to test the other perks we dont even know if they work. some of them could be useless and broken.
All the perks minus a select few do very minimal changes, even the damage increase is ussualy only 3 more points of damage which is negligible.
I think the predator has the most powerful perks in terms of how much they change him. The perk that reduces cooldown time on second wind reduces it by a full minute. Where as most perks on fireteam and a few on pred are super minor.
Its a weird imbalance in the perk system that makes a select few… even ones youd think by description would be worse end up being better because they have greater changes overall.
We need full descriptions IN GAME for what each perk does statistically.
3 points of damage may not sound a lot, but if thats per bullet and it has 30 rounds in a clip thats 90 more damage, quite significant over a full clip.
That’s a good question since theres the Height Advantage Perk which only works in trees. That would be a dirty stack of perks. It’s worth a test I think.
I just posted one in the bug tracker. The Cooling Syncs have absolutely no effect. With or without the perk the overload recharge rate is 8 seconds. Tested using both the Leap Slam, and Plasma Caster discharge overload.
Yes i should have stated that difference… in the minigun for instance that is a significant boost in damage output.
Single shot weapons however get almost no increase in damage. This also works for the predator melee weapons, only 3 point difference.
I feel like it should be a straight percentage based number like 10% or so so that every weapon gains a good boost
it is 10% , its just 1 hit with wrist blades doesn’t do much damage. 30. so +10% is +3 … BUT the combo will do 90damage +10% = 99 damage.
Or a combo with the elder sword: 3 hit combo does 107damage +10% = 117.7
It doesnt work that way for fireteam weapons
