Been playing way more FT since the update since pred is broken. I have zero issue with caster use. The FT damage output is absolutely fucking insane and has been for a long time. Pred has no other viable way to engage a good team. He simply lacks the tools, health, and damage output. FT is and always has been the real hunter in this game. Anyone who says otherwise is just flat out wrong. It’s not opinion, it’s tested numbers.

Pred has the tools, it’s about the skill. I’ve seen pros like Samhain go against his RDS friends using a SCOUT and still win. FT will always have the advantage, but if you’ve played enough to have the skill, you have a chance to win.

There’s always a chance so long as you ditch any backwards ideas about honor in a competitive game. I think a lot of preds have trouble because they think there’s some code they have to follow.
No, you win or you lose. Those are the only stipulations of a predator.

I used to kind of think I had to play by some kind of honor system, but the reality is I don’t. Win, or lose, it goes both ways for both teams. The FT isn’t going to hesitate in lighting me up and taking me out as fast as they can, so why should I? This isn’t a lore based movie, this is a competitive game, with the winner the most skilled and deadly.

Yep, this is the deciding factor. Why handicap yourself to players who will attempt to chase you down in SW 99% of the time or even go so far as blocking exits to exploit questionable map design…? Ever seen FT play honorably? I’ve had maybe a dozen people out of the thousands I’ve killed request a duel. Every other time it’s me demanding it out of boredom or pity lol

The only game I’ve ever played with an unwritten code like that is Dark Souls. Everyone bows, or at least gestures/taunts, no one heals (in DS2 you’d chug it all in the beginning to show your dominance).
I can’t even take my mask off let alone establish an honor system in this game.
