One more slash is kinda a big deal in this game, every moment counts. That’s one more potential parry or just that extra couple of seconds for the FT to lay into you, and we all know they don’t need a lot of time to kill you. I’m not against it I’m just saying he’s definitely very strong. Because also with just OWLF training that extra 10 health can go an even longer way still

Another thing to think about, while we are talking about small amounts of health. Assault with Thick skin gets 165. Arnold has 160 naturally. So that’s 4 perk points he can spend elsewhere while naturally just having assaults stamina. I’m glad he doesn’t have tons of gear space, I’m just saying he’s got potential to become the meta.
He’s tankier with his high HP yeah, but he’s also stuck with 8 gear slots so he can’t bring ammo or health if running syringes like the faster assaults can which is HUGE.
Also people need to stop bringing up his gun when talking about him as the gun can be used on any class and is only behind a paywall until the 12th. It’s not like I haven’t been using the hammer on supports or assaults.
Overall once the hype dies down I see myself returning to the assault the extra HP is nice but not worth the what he loses, assaults just got boosted secondary weapon dmg which I think is better than mud time and not being able to carry syringes and a bag is a big step down.
I disagree that assault is better but only if you are playing with a squad. If you have a support to bring med kits I think Arnold is hands down better. Without the help of a teammate with med kits you’ll need the extra heals against a good predator
I’ve yet to see a team that doesn’t want more than 2 medkit bags unless the match is over fast or against a poor predator player. My 2 other friends and I run twin assaults one with ammo one with health and the support guy likes to bring both and we generally go through most of the resources even if its to top off a third HP dmg after a pred engagement.
Getting that HP to full for when the pred commits is big as is having plentiful ammo to not have to be as restricted on usage when you spot the pred
You said 2 supports, and you also said most teams want two med kits, well ok there is your two med kits then your other 2 are Dutch(assault with extra health) I’m just saying compared with assault, he’s stronger. Just a face value comparison. And if you add being in coms with your friends and they can bring the items needed it’s a no brained to have Dutch
I don’t know if extra ammo is that “huge”. Unless I play with 10 year olds, I rarely run out of ammo. Or other classes have them. So bringing ammo is more of a bonus that a must. To me, Assault brings a more balanced gear load-out. Where as Dutch can kinda “cheat” the perk system, because of his class attributes being a balance of offense and defense. Making his perk selection more flexible. Where as Assault is all offense attribute wise. Don’t forget about Class Attributes!
It’s 100 percent play to win. He’s the only one that has a chance against a high level Berserker at the moment.
I wouldn’t say all that. Ok so I’m going to blow your mind. Hunter is better than Berserker. Against a good FT you’ll want hunter all day. Berserker having low stamina means you leap in swing at some people and then when the team lays into you, you don’t have the stamina to leap out. Berserker is not all some people seem to think he is
