I don’t see a need for the pistol to be weaker
Maybe limited to grimtech
Melee weapons like a katana would still do the same amount of damage as the regular knife just with added range and slightly faster swing speed for combos
Maybe it could also cause bleeding
The inclusion of these types of FT melee weapons would require the predator to be able to parry as well
I don’t know, right now the pixtol is pretty good (second and third one). From my point of view you’re better off with the PDW-Z or ZR-55 but. If you make that pistol as good as the 1011-12 or 2XL and get a katana I think it would be to good :)

I’m just saying if your getting two weapons with one slot the katana should be the go to weapon not the pistol the pistol should be as good as the pistol in black ops zombies good for a bit but not very grater
Its going to be a tricky balancing act because theoratically you get 2 weapons for 2 weapons. You replace your main or secondary with the Katana and the knife with something else.
At this point I think we could just give more options to the FT. Perhaps make different melee weapons act differently, for instance, some could have insane parry ability but almost non-existing damage and others insane damage but no parry.

That’s crazy, grimtech has literally the highest burst-damage in the game. You need to click like an absolute madman or rebind fire to scroll wheel, but grimtech is a pred-destroyer when you crouch and have a relatively stationary pred. I can get over 15 clicks per second (game’s maximum input rate) if i can hold my mouse still and click towards the base of my mouse button, if you allowed a grimtech to be used by someone that was already down, they’d shred the predator so quickly because they wouldn’t need to worry about moving at all, they could use one hand to hold the mouse/controller in a good position and the other to click like crazy.

Grimtech is the weakest pistol only in that it’s hard to click quickly enough to use it in a way that causes huge damage, but in certain situations where you’re able to click quickly enough, grimtech shreeeeeedddddssss
It will only work up to the point the predator grabs you. So leap and hit your claim button. Only minimal hits would get trough.
