Can god love people but not be involved, or is that something akin to stalking?

My belief is that God who is concerned about humans doesn’t exist. There might be a god indifferent to humans tho. But, humans need to feel loved, so they believe in a god who loves them.

Love is part of it I guess. The biggest need for God is the need for order.

i feel like gods more like a parent who tried to teach his kids how to live and hopes they listen, Its like our parents they can only think for you when youre unable to do so yourself once you hit a certain age you’re your own responsibility
