One of the most annoying things ever… getting downed while trying to get back the one syrette you used

One ft member with a support can have almost 1k hp a piece. With the support constantly picking people up… it suffers the same fate as apex legends. It’s a bandaid to keep even the worst teams from getting steam rolled

the field medic HP pickup needs to be nerfed. It never should have been a health buff, only a speed buff.

We as one of the most shitty PC squads have been able to beat really good preds running 4 FM, which honestly feels cheap as fuck and not a true victory. We rarely, if ever, use it. I may or may not use it with potatoes, though me personally, would never risk getting injured picking up someone, so unless the coast is clear, I will not risk it.

but yeah, FM is broken. So are some of the pred builds with 1 shot down.

I would have prefer the game to go in the opposite direction and have the damage nerfed across the whole board instead of buffed, but oh well… it is what it is. Now winning a match half the time is more about luck of what map/mission/loadouts were in the match than actual gameplay

I don’t even try anymore. I got tired of playing sweaty. This game is boring if you play like that. So I’d rather just chit-chat on discord and GG at the end. This is my excuse to not go to a bar because after a year, it just feels strange to go to one… plus… is cheaper to drink at home, LMAO

Syrettes and medkits (not perma medkits found on the map) do not recover full health. Haven’t really tested how much, but I know is not fully HP and just a predetermined amount of HP. Gear medkits I’m pretty sure is 75HP per use. Which, honestly, is fair, as it takes forever to use and if you as pred can’t prevent it… you kinda suck, LOL. Syrettes I think is closer to 150. When I run assault+Thickskin sometimes I ain’t fully healed after popping a syrette, so I know is less than 175HP

I honestly would mind if syrettes were nerfed in exchange for a quicker action. When you need them the most, such against a dumb button smashing elder sword zerk, they act too slow and you die because the rest of your 3 potatoe teammates are too busy admiring the pred’s beauty while you are trying to land one parry with 100ms ping

Personally I agree with this in parts. Though I’d suggest quite a few changes & buffs across the board to solve the issues in the game ATM, which IMO isn’t that much because I personally feel balance is probably at the best its been in a long, long time.

First off. Give every Map in the game the same amount of Ammo Crates that Airstrip has. Airstrip is an almost perfect map, for BOTH sides regardless of what some will try to tell you, and it’s raised the standard for map design in this game. Almost every other map in this game, especially Backwater which was always a shit map anyway, pales in comparison to Airstrip and I hope we maintain this level of quality going forward. On top of that, add in one or two more pig spawn locations per map as well to even the playing field.

Secondly, make changes to the Healing Options of both Fireteam & Predator. Fireteam Medkits, both the Gear Options & the ones spawned around the map, should heal for 100% of a Player’s Health Bar. Stims should instead heal for 50% on every one. Similar changes should be made towards Predator Medkits & Pigs. Predator Medkits should heal 100% whilst Pigs heal for 75%. A 25% increase over FT Stims seems fair considering there is no way to speed up the usage of Pigs whilst Medkits can be buffed & sped up on both sides, and FT stims come out and heal after a single button press. Or at the least change it so that the Medic perk also increases the speed at which you eat a pig and maybe increase it from 4 to 5 perk points to use as a response. So of course the health values of your Class on both sides affect what you’re getting back from Stims & Pigs.

Lastly, an increase to the Health Values of every Class in the game should be made. For both sides.

For Fireteam

Scout & Recon from 125 to 150.
Assault from 150 to 175.
Dante from 160 to 180
Dutch 2025 from 160 to 180 and Dutch 1987 from 155 to 175 whilst 2025 gains 87’s Mud damage resistance and 87 gains 2025’s natural hipfire accuracy.
Support goes from 175 to 200.
And OWLF from 135 to 160.

On the Predator side

Take Scout from 1000 to 1500.
Alpha from 1150 to 1650.
Valkyrie from 1200 to 1700.
Hunter/JH/City/ from 1250 to 1750.
Elder from 1250 to 1700.
Samurai from 1350 to 1850.
Berserker from 1500 to 2000.
Viking from 1500 to 2250.

Overall across the board everyone’s health goes up, cutting down on the effectiveness of Fireteam’s 2 second TTK builds & Predators’ one-hit down builds. Then on top of that you give every map the same amount of resources for FT as Airstrip AND boost the spawn rate & number of pigs for Preds on every map at the same time. And finally you change the healing values for all of the health restoration options that Fireteam & Preds have so that the ā€œquickā€ and easy to use options heal for just 50% to 75% of each classes’ respective health pools whilst the longer options heal for 100%.

Boom, the major issues of game balance at the moment, which is overall still relatively really good, are fixed. Damage goes down across the board without any of the weapons or build options having to be touched/removed/nerfed. And the resource issues that Fireteam & Pred variably face across all the maps are severely lessened. All done through buffs across the board with the exception of minor relative nerfs to Stimpaks & Pigs which are lessened by everyone having more health & healing options being a bit more plentiful.

I’m sorry, I cannot agree with most of this.

Coming from a guy that knows he ain’t even close at the top level of players, as it is right now, heals and stuff is mostly balanced towards FT. As pred, is even better if you don’t use medkits and the medic perk and just bring traps and go with pigs, which is faster than using a medkit with medic and there’s now there’s plenty on every map.

Health buffs can’t be the solution. Damage reduction should. Extend the match, not make it shorter.

I’ve played plenty of custom matches and is always the one’s where we reduce damage that feel the more fair and enjoyable

And I’m telling you, Buff everyone, don’t nerf things. Buffs are always better & more helpful than Nerf. Buffing Health serves the exact same purpose as nerfing damage, but will be better for PR and not remove options.

Wrong wrong wrong. From top to bottom. If u increase hp for ft. There gonna finish missions in 5 min. Everytime.

They can do that anyways. This would make no difference to that. It just stops 1 hit downs & 2 second TTKs by buffing both sides HP and increasing survivability across the board.

Math is still math. There are no one shot downs unless the ft choses not to run owl wolf hp and support. Ttk is not an issue. The issue is pred can’t sneak up on a ft ez with out tripping sensors and getting spotted. Since this is a ps4 exclusive. The majority of players are casuals and can barely muster up what the fuck is even going on

I kinda do not agree with that cause it’s a map full of pigs too.
And the Pred can always destroy ammo crates and health packs and FT can not destroy pigs
