In my opinion, hiding is a valid FT tactic assuming they are not somewhere exploitive / where they are not meant to be.

Predator gameplay is literally:

  1. Find the FT.
  2. Kill the FT.

I personally wish most Fireteam Players would stop using detrimental tactics. Hiding in plain sight in general (unless you’re pulling off a sneaky Reinforce but at least try to help before hiding), pulling out Ol’ Painless as if it actually worked in the movie, running away from Predator claiming or just using Combi-Stick being slow as hell, etc etc. It hurts seeing myself pull work and seeing the 4th Dutch in a row with like 0 Pred Damage.

I believe the spike in these tactics are the result of Illfonic nerfing the predator slam dmg. Still, you can kill campers, just takes longer now.

I try to complete objectives and reinforce FT when I’m last alive. Muddling up is key to staying hidden.
