FPS DROPS [PC] HELP

Here’s a video I just made. Im using NVENC with OBS so, there are some FPS drops and increase in CPU usage that is accountable to OBS, but overall not running OBS I would see maybe 5-6 frames more and maybe 15% less on CPU usage.

Strangely my nvidia overly doesn’t work for PHG.
Works for everything except this.

@YUPPERS You sure that you are getting 55 fps avg on 1070ti?

I have

gigabyte 1070 g1 gaming (with OC its 1-2 fps difference, but with like 15+ extra Temperature lmfao)
i9 9900k (also occed to 5.1 ghz)
16 gb ddr4
gigabyte z390 elite aorus…

The game on epic is max 50 fps
game on cinematic is max 30 fps…
literally dropping to 15 fps

1070TI 8GB
32GB DDR4 RAM
EVO 850 SSD (game is on it)

I definitely get frame drops below 60. Especially on Backwater and during extractions. Using the Mini Gun tends to occasionally drop my frames too depending on the map location. No improvements in performance over these past couple of months. None that i have noticed. If anything. It’s gotten worse.

yeah the only time i get 60 fps is if i look at the sky

and also the fps gets worse each patch… no clue why

I havnt tested since 1.09. I have a 2080 now

2080 is somewhat like a 1080ti but 1080ti runs this game at around 60 fps constantly on epic but pretty sure it drops to like 55 at some parts…

Do test it out im curious lol and the temps especially and usage, if the game will use 99% of the game then that is on the game optimiziations

2080 runs faster by a few frames… you know and I know the 1080 series driver suppt is prolly done.

That yeah its on its brink of death lmao… as the pascal is 5 or more yrs old i assume… and 3000 series is coming so yah… im probs gonna be getting the new 3080 or 3080ti if i get lucky with paycheck haha… i will be glad to test the game on 3080

Hmm i do wonder how that works… well yeah i can probably assume that you are either living in a country that gives a decent paycheck over rent rates and bill rates… OOOR you are just a god at saving xD…

In my case im a student paying for private school studies… also giving money for food and bills… and yeah… everything else that goes to school expenses…

Jesus im making barley 300€ monthly for a 11 hours per day and Its a miracle i saved up like 900$… cause like idk xD… life is hard af in Croatia… blehhh… i also dont buy latest tech cause as i mention been with my 1070 for so long and its already breaking down and dying due to high thermals on idle
